Don't Stop

Over the next few days, I film a lot with the vlog squad. I interview each of the members, including Trisha and Josh since they're over a lot. I see Corey nearly every night, but I keep thinking about Dom.

One day, as I'm editing my interview with Jason, which is the next to go up since I posted David's, my phone buzzes.

It's a text from Dom.

'Hey, Ally. I know you're prob really busy, but I just wanted to see if you thought more about our convo the other night.'

I sigh and reply. 'I thought about it, but I can't just leave my boyfriend for you. He'd be heartbroken.'

'As heartbroken as I was when I found out you two were dating?' Is his reply. I don't answer.

I finish editing the video and upload it with the title Vlog Squad: Jason Nash Tells All and then I stand and stretch. It's such a nice day, I shouldn't waste it indoors.

I change clothes and go for a run, my feet leading me to Dom's place. I pause outside, contemplating going up to the door and knocking. I decide against it.

When I get home, I shower and text Corey. 'Hey babe, wanna go out for drinks like right now?'

He replies with a yes and a smiley face. I laugh and change into a pair of black skinny jeans and an off-the-shoulder blouse with my Louboutins.

'Hey babe, I'm on my way over.' Corey texts me.

I send an ok to let him know I received the message before I fix my hair and makeup.

Corey lets himself in with the key I keep under the mat outside and he enters my bathroom.

"Hey." He kisses the top of my head. 

"Hey." I turn and raise my head for a kiss. "I'll be ready in like 2 minutes."

He nods and leans against the wall beside me. As I feel him staring at me, my heart breaks. I can't do this to him. 

"Um, Corey," I say quietly.

"What's wrong, babe?" He asks, his brows furrowing. 

"I can't go out tonight." I shake my head.

"What? Why? You're already ready." He motions to my outfit.

"I know, but... Listen. I spoke to Dom the other day, and it was pretty obvious that we both still have feelings for one another. I don't want to break your heart, but not following my heart will break mine." I hold my breath.

"Are you saying you want to break up?" He asks.

"I think it's what needs to be done." I reach out and grab his arm. "You've been such an amazing person to me. I just don't think it's fair to either of us if we're not both giving this 100%." 

"Do I even mean anything to you?" He snaps.

"Of course you do. I just still have feelings for my ex. I don't want to hurt you by being with you while still loving him." I shake my head. 

"You can't be serious." 

"Yes, I am. Corey, I'm so sorry. But I love Dom still, and I can't pretend that I don't." I sigh. 

"I don't know what to say." Corey shakes his head. "I'm just going to go. Bye."

Corey storms out and I sigh when I hear the door slam shut. I slowly stand and go to lock it. When I do, I collapse on the couch and stare at my phone in my hand. There's only one thing to do now.

"Dom?" I ask.

He turns around, smiling softly. "You came." He wraps me in his arms.
