Prologue

Title: BREAKEVEN

-Prologue-

Sharlene and Topher were happy together. The happiness is overwhelming that it seems like everything is just so magical and unreal but it's REAL.

Nakatapos sila ng kolehiyo at agad namang nakahanap ng trabaho. Si Topher ay naging empleyado muna sa kanilang company to gain experience and expertise while Sharlene is in clothing line business.

Naging masaya sila sa isa't isa. They spent their lives making things up for them. Marami na ring dumating na struggles sa kanila throughout the years.

Topher's father was in coma for 5 months and still in recovery kaya sya na ang nag take over sa company nila. And Sharlene was always there to help and cheer him up.

Sharlene parents were leaving abroad for good. Dun na kasi sila maninirahan sa Paris at itutuloy ang business nila but Sharlene decided to stay.

They have been together for 9 years. Sa loob ng mahabang panahon na yun ay sa kanila lang umikot ang buong mundo nila. They were glued and madly in love.

Pero tama nga naman sguro ang sabi na iba that nothing stays the same forever dahil sigurado may magbabago.

Topher started to realize na sa loob ng mahabang panahon ay wala syang ibang ginawa kundi ang mag trabaho at umiikot ang mundo niya sa bagay na paulit ulit until he found himself being chocked and chained with Work and Sharlene. He felt like he lost his life. Parang hindi na sya makahinga at parang hindi na sya masaya.

He did love Sharlene so much. No doubt for that but there was something in him na gusto kumawala. Pakiramdam niya ay para siyang nalulunod at nakakulong.

He woke up each day early in the morning, preparing himself for work. Then, spending the rest of the day working.
Later that night, he went home and saw his wife preparing dinner.
After dinner, both of them were busy with paper and extended works again. Sharlene was busy planning and designing dresses.
Samantalang siya naman ay sa laptop nya at magrereview ng files. Until late night came and they fell asleep.

Araw araw na siguro na ganun ang ginagawa nila. They were engaged kaya todo sila trabaho para makaipon narin at matapos ang pinapagawang bahay. They decided to stay in his condo while the construction is still on going.

Life made a biggest dilemma for them. Topher and Sharlene were invited in a party. Sharlene said yes but she can't make it dahil meron silang event sa company for the latest fashion outfits.

He went there alone and the next thing he knew.. he found himself drinking too much, partying too much and enjoying himself.

Maybe, this is it! He said to himself. Baka dahil sa ilang taon na sa trabaho at sa fiancé lang sya naka tuon ay nakalimutan niya na ang sarili nya.

Until one day THINGS SUDDENLY FALL DOWN that changes their lives..
