Chapter 10

Sharlene POV

"Where are you going?"

Tanong sakin ni Nana nung makita akong natatarantang tunayo saka kinuha mga gamit ko.

"I need to go. I forgot, I have a meeting today. Gosh!"

Natataranta kong sabi habang hinahanap ang pair of heels.

"Still reckless. You never grew up Sharlene"

Napailing iling nalang siya pero patuloy parin ang pagbabasa. This girl is such a nerd and bookworm.

"Urg. Not now! I have to go. Thanks for the meal"

Agad kung sinuot ang heels saka bumaba na. Bakit ko ba kasi nakalimutan. Naexcite kasi ako makita ang babaeng yun tapos siya parang di man lang ako namiss. Nakakatampo.

Nagdadrive na ako papunta sa office ng bigla namang may sumulpot na isang pusa sa daan kaya nagulat ako at napa liko ko ang manubela at bigla namang tumama ang sasakyan sa may malaking bato kaya napasubsob ako sa may manubela. Mabuti nalang at naka seatbelt ako.

Biglang akong nahihilo. Kinapa ko ang ulo ko saka nakita na may dugo.

(Christopher's Dad POV)

"Where's Sharlene now? She's 20 minutes late!"

I asked Sharlene's assistance to call her but she can't reach her until now.

We supposedly have meeting today with Dayne Franco to discuss how this commercial will happen and some negotiation.

Suddenly, her phone rang....

(Yes, I'm Sharlene Touche's assistance... 

Wait? What hospital she's in?

Ok sir. Thank you! We will be there as soon as possible!")

"Hospital? What the hell is going on? Where's Sharlene? What happened to her?"

My son suddenly stood up and held the assistance shoulder. He was apparently in panic.

"Miss. Sabihin mo sakin. Ako na ang pupunta sa kanya!"

The other guy said, Dayne Franco. I saw how my son's expression changed and looked at him.

"No. I will go to her. You stay here and discuss things with the boss!"

Medyo napalakas naman ang boses niya that caused everyone else to be alarmed.

"I'm sorry but I can't just stay here. I must see Sharlene first!"

Nagkainitan sila ng tingin saka ko na pinigilan ang tensyon na namamagitan sa dalawang binata.

"Stop it. Ms. Dwen, kindly tell us what happened so we can now see Ms. Touche. And both of you, stop arguing.. sabay tayong pumunta dun para walang gulo. Mga kabataan talaga ngayon."

The atmosphere seems to change.
Thank God. I don't know if I can still tame these two loverboys.

The assistance then tell what happened. After knowing the hospital where Sharlene was confined. Parang kidlat namang nagsipag labas ang dalawang binata at nag uunahan pa yatang lumabas ng pinto. They didn't bother themselves to bid goodbye.

Ohh well... I'm pretty sure they will take good care of Sharlene. Either or perhaps both of them will surely will. So, I will handle the staffs here instead.
