Chapter 1

Topher POV

"Brad.. Wag kang mawawala mamaya huh. Last ko na 'to!"

Fien said while patting my shoulder. Nagyaya siyang dumalo para sa basbas niya mamaya.

He's getting married so this will be his last time to enjoy his freedom bago magpatali.

I nodded.

"Yeah sure. I will be there as soon as I finish this work!"

I'm busy scanning paper and preparing presentation. He's beside the swivel chair while looking outside the window pane.

"I will expect you thee and during the wedding!"

He smiled but I kinda noticed the tense in his face.

"Are you afraid of getting married? You seem so tense Bro!"

I said when I noticed his expression. Para syang natatae at nagpapawis.

"No. I am not. I just want to tell you that you will be my best man!"

He said and smile but apprently, he was just trying to cover up his tension.

"Yeah sure!"

Nasabi ko nalang at binaliwala sya. I still have to finish this paper work.

"Pre, kasal ko huh. Magkaibigan naman siguro tayo kaya okey lang naman sayo?"

I suddenly stopped and looked at him.

"Ofcourse, just make sure that my partner is worth it! I will take her after the ceremony"

I grinned while staring at Fien. He seemed like afraid and guilt.

"Ahhh kasi brad.. Yung maid of honor kasi na napili ni Reidge kasi eh.. Si ano kas----"

Di na niya natuloy ang sasabihin kasi biglang pumasok ang secretary ko.

"Excuse me sir. Pinapatawag po kayo ng Papa niyo sa Conference Room. Meron po kayong emergency meeting kasama ang creative marketing department."

Tuloy tuloy na sabi ng secretary ko kaya tumango nalang ako. I turned my glance at Fien.

"Sige na pre. Mukhang importante yun. Aalis nadin ako at magsusukat pa ako barong. Basta wag kang mawawala mamaya huh? Sumunod ka nalang!"

Fien said as he fixed himself.

"Yeah. I will be there. Baka ma late lang but I will try my best to cope up."

I smiled to give him assurance.
Umalis narin sya at ako naman at tumungo na sa conference room.

Sharlene POV

"What is this?"

Bulyaw ni Claire sakin while I'm retouching. We're in photo shoot.
Tumingin ako sa kanya sandali then back to the mirror.

"What?"

I play innocent habang inaayos ang buhok ko. Siya naman ay umupo sa may bakanteng seat.
Haha. Her face is really nakakatakot. Swear, she's really pissed.

"What are you trying to do? You sign up a contract with Anderson Advertising Agency? Seriously Sharlene Taoche?"

Tuloy tuloy niyang sabi and I could imagine her, blowing smoke in her ears and nose like a bull.

"Yeah. Something wrong about that?"

I still act as if it's nothing to me but that's just part of my plan.
