Chapter 10

Note: This fanfiction does not follow the timeline of the TFIL videos or the videos from the channels from the mentioned YouTubers. In this fanfiction, they already live in that big mansion as roommates.

Colby

A month after the Big Air overnight with France, I felt that became a bit closer to France despite only texting and having occasional calls with her. The other guys also communicate with her but she once mentioned in one of our phone calls that she talks to me more than the others. Secretly, I was happy that I was the one growing closer to her and not the others because I may or may not have gotten a crush on her.

Screw it. I do have a crush on her. It was really all because of her eyes. Her eyes held so many things yet her mouth spoke so little about herself. I got curious as to why she chose to keep her mouth shut when we asked about her cuts and bruises on the first night that we met.

Three weeks ago, everyone in the house has gotten an invitation to a very extravagant party. It was Francine's 20th birthday. Everyone agreed to go but we also agreed to not tell France if she were to invite any of us personally... Or though text. But, until the night of the party, we received no such invitation from the celebrant herself, which made us pretty disappointed.

On the way to the party, we all decided to ride the cars by pair. Corey drove his car with Devyn, his girlfriend; Elton already went ahead to fetch his girlfriend Amanda, since we were given the privilege to have a +1; and Aaron rode with Sam and I in Sam's car, saying that he didn't want to drive alone. In our suits (for Devyn and Amanda's case, dresses), we headed to the venue, in hopes to see Francine again.

We arrived at the venue and saw that there were other YouTubers invited for the party. They were the big names like Pewdiepie and Jackseptickeye. We met a few of our friends as well and they were curious about the party since they watched our overnight video with France in the trampoline park. We were also starstruck when we noticed that many celebrities and business men and women with their families were also invited.

This shows how wealthy France's family was. No wonder she was able to rent out Big Air for the night like it was nothing.

We all headed inside after having our photos taken and we were all amazed at the size of the hall. Dozens of round tables that caters 15 people were scattered around the room as well as the standing tables (I don't really know what they're called). Dozens of waiters were already serving drinks as people chatted and had pictures taken.

Seeing that the atmosphere and people were overwhelming, our group decided to sit in one table with other YouTubers we know, like BigNick, Brennen Taylor, ScottySire, David Dobrick, and many more. We easily filled one 15-seated round table. We chatted for a bit, grabbing drinks and taking pictures with celebrities, until everyone was seated and a couple stood on the small podium at the bottom of a large staircase at the very front of the room.

"Good evening everyone!" The man's cheerful voice rang around the hall as he spoke through the microphone. "I want to thank each and every one of you for joining us tonight as we celebrate a very important day for me and my family." It was then when I realized that they were France's parents.

"Tonight," the woman continued. "We will be celebrating to thank God for giving us a wonderful gift." I smiled at her words. They seem like wonderful parents. "Our only daughter, Francine Lockhart, is turning 20 tonight!" We all cheered for their words, appreciating how they are throwing Francine a celebration party as a symbol of their love.

"Let us welcome the star of tonight," the man announced when the cheers died down. "Francine Lockhart!" People cheered as the curtains on top of the staircase were raised. Spotlights and cameras pointed at the top where a girl stood, wearing a black off-shoulder ball gown with golden accents. Her hands were covered with white long gloves that reached up to her elbows. On her neck was a black victorian looking choker, paired with black dangling earrings (picture above ^^ :3).

It was Francine... and her beauty blew me away.

She smiled to the crowd before making her way down to where her dad was reaching his hand to her. She greeted her parents with a hug and a kiss on their cheeks before giving a small speech. When she finished, she scanned the crowd and our eyes suddenly met. I was a bit surprised to see her act so elegantly since the first time we met, she was limping, and jumping around the trampolines on the second time.

Before she was pulled away by her dad, I noticed a flash of horror and pain in her eyes before she faced a pair of men, one obviously the other one's father. The younger of the pair spoke to her before lifting her hand to his lips. I noticed a small twitch at the corner of her lips at his actions before he stood up tall and stepped a bit too closer to her body. My eyebrows furrowed when I saw him lean down and whisper something to her ear, causing her to shiver.

For some reason, my blood boiled at the man's actions. When he pulled away, he smirked at her as he have noticed her shiver. From the look in her eyes, what she felt was far from pleasure.

"Colby," Sam called from behind me. I turned to the table and found a variety of foods were laid on our table and some of them were already eating. "Let's eat before we meet her."

I threw a glance at their direction and frowned when I noticed that she has moved from one asshole to another man who was obviously flirting with her. "Yeah."

A bit uneventful but I promise I'll give something juicy in the next chapter :3

P.S. The picture I used is one of my favorite girl's prom picture. She's like a younger sister of mine since we grew up together... She's also best friends with my younger sister since they're of the same age.
