Part 2
Wayne: The Babes and the Beam
I caught up to the red light that was ahead of me. It was a cute red headed babe. I looked up and gave her a little smirk of confidence.
"Hey Sparky," I smoothly said. I called her that cause her hair had little sparks of flames dancing in it.
She rudely rolled her eyes and told me to "buzz off."
Who put mud in her hot chocolate? Seriously. I let out a soft scoff. Her face was cute but her sour personality wasn't my type.
Next another babe came into the field. She had dark skin and little buns on her head. She looked up at me and I gave her a little wave. She rolled her eyes and looked at the red head babe.
"Whatcha lookin' at?" The babe with buns snapped at both of us. You could tell the red headed babe got heated because her red hair seemed to start to burn with fire.
The red headed babe began to speak, but a third (forth?) person came tripping out of the forest. Quite literally too. He totally faceplanted. It was hilarious.
He asked if we knew what was going on. I didn't, so I waited until someone spoke up and said they did. I snapped my attention to the red headed babe when she answered. The two girls then went off.
The red head's hair began to burn with her rage. Literally.
"Ladies. Ladies. No need to fight. Why don't we let a man handle this?" I said placing my hand on my chest. I was trying to calm the situation, but only seemed to have it turn on me.
"Excuse you?!" They both yelled at me angrily. I was just trying to help.
"STOP!" the other guy yelled in his dorky panic. "We shouldn't fight. We all had to be brought here for a reason ... right?" His voice shook with intimidation. It was like having any attention freaked him out. He was the one that brought it to himself though.
The babe with the buns rolled her eyes and faced the large pillar of light. "What do you think this thing is anyways?" she tilted her head to the side as she asked. Her two buns made her look like an anime bear girl. I dig it.
"Good question we shouldn't-" The red headed babe began to speak before she panicked. "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?"
The babe with buns was reaching out and sticking her hand through the beam. She turned around and rolled her eyes at the red headed babe. "Stop being so dramatic. It looks like we can go through."
"Don't go in there are you crazy?!" The red headed babe tried to argue with the babe with buns but it was too late. She stepped through the beam and disappeared into the yellow light.
I got a small smirk. The babe with buns was definitely more my style. I chased in after her.
Getting into the beam was the strangest thing ever. I couldn't help but get disoriented at first before I lost my sight in the bright light. It definitely burned my eyes. Then this weird sickening feeling washed over me. Almost like I ate too much and then got thrown onto a spinning ride. And boy, oh boy was I on the biggest spinning ride of my life.
