Part 3

Adria: The Bossy, The Annoying, and the Stupid

No. It wasn't a race. If it was I totally lost. Who cares when the two I ended up catching up to ended up being bossy and the other annoying. The boy in blue was the annoying and the girl in red was obviously the bossy.

When I got into the clearing with the two others. The annoying waved and the bossy glared.

I asked what they were looking at (probably not in the nicest way). This pissed off the bossy one. She quickly tried to calm herself though. It was entertaining to watch her simmer down like a boiling pot.

Next, the stupid came. He stumbled out of the forest with a clumsy noodle like stumble. He honestly looked like a pile of noodles falling onto the floor. It was a bit pathetic. He then awkwardly asked if we knew what was going on. Like, come on. Does it look like anyone knows what the hell is going on?

The bossy answered. Who the hell does she think she is?

"Who put you in charge?" I asked angrily. She then decided to come at me with sass.

"I'm just stating a fact everyone should know." The hell was this girl's problem.

I was fully ready to tell her off when the annoying one opened his mouth. "Ladies. Ladies," by these first words I knew instantly what kind of crap he was about to pull on us next," No need to fight. Why don't we let a man handle this?"

I knew it. This sexist – we teamed up on him. I may not like her but we don't need to be patronized.

The stupid then spoke up. He barely could get his words out. I barely could understand him by the end.

I rolled my eyes. I made my way to the beam. If it was like the others someone could be in it and maybe we could go into it. I reached my hand out and put it in the beam. Didn't hurt or seem bad.

The bossy yelled at me anyways. I let out a sigh and spoke. "Stop being so dramatic. It looks like we can go through."

She yelled at me again. "Don't go in there are you crazy?!"

I ignored her. I walked into the beam. No one tells me what I can and cannot do. She isn't the boss of this odd team. She doesn't even know what is going on. She isn't going to take a risk for this weird team anyways.

When I stepped into the light my vision went hazy and bright. I shut my eyes tightly to get rid of this feeling. I felt my body get lighter. It was just like the green beam. It felt different at the same time though. There was a nauseous feeling on top of it. Like I ate Gramps' bad attempt at a pizza with less sodium and more squash. Some say the greener the better...
