"Oh Tikki I'm so confused!" I groaned as I let myself fall back on the bed. "I know I love Adrien, but whenever I'm around Luka, I get all nervous and my heart won't stop racing!" Tikki hovered next to me wearily. "And then there's Cat..." I trailed off. "What do you mean?" She asked, tilting her head curiously. "Ever since I found out he truly loves Ladybug, I don't know how to act around him. It's like I'm meeting him for the first time..." Tikki hovered over and sat on my head. "Well I think it's great that you're taking Cat seriously. He seems like a great guy who always puts your well-being before his own!" She hovered over to my desk and stood beside Adrien's picture.

"As for the situation with Adrien and Luka, get to know them better! How can you really be sure of your feelings, when you can't even say two words to Adrien. And Even though Luka makes you nervous, it seems like you two have stuff in common!" I was about to say something, when a light tap on my trap door made me turn. "Tikki hide!" I hissed as I got up and made my way upstairs. Cautiously, I opened the trap door and peeked outside. A pair of lime green eyes stared back at me.

"Cat Noir?" I asked, a bit surprised. "Hello" he greeted wearily. He was crouched on all fours. "I'm sorry to show up at this time, I just didn't know where else to go. I don't really want to be alone right now..." he trailed off sadly. I nodded. "Give me a second" I said as I descended back into my room and grabbed my sweater. "Who is it?" Tikki asked without coming out. "It's Cat Noir. It looks like he needs to talk..." I said as I climbed back upstairs and stepped out into the cold night.

"It's chilly tonight..." I said as I hugged myself. He nodded pensively. He was sitting on the railing effortlessly. His belt hung loosely over the edge. "I'm sorry for making you come out here..." he apologized. I shook my head. "You didn't make me do anything. I'm here because I want to be" he smiled wearily. "So what's bothering you...?" He stared out at the city sadly.

"You're the only person who knows about my feelings for Ladybug, so I thought maybe I could ask you for some advice..." he trailed off. "A-advice?" I stuttered nervously. "W-what kind of advice?" He glanced down sadly. "Remember the surprise I had for Ladybug a few days back?" My cheeks blushed when I remembered. "Y-yea..." I confirmed awkwardly. "Well, after our fight with Glaciator, I convinced her to go. She was really happy..." he trailed off. "She said I was more than just a partner and that she considered me her friend, but..." he paused for a few seconds. His shaggy hair swayed lightly in the breeze. "She said there was another boy she was intrested in" my heart cringed uneasily when I recalled that conversation.

"But this isn't about who she likes. This is about me being her friend. We save Paris together almost everyday, and I feel like she still doesn't trust me. I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to know her true identity. But I love her, and I respect her wishes. Do you know, we've de-tramsformed in front of each other before?" My heart raced when I remembered that day. "If I was someone else, I would've peeked. I wouldn't have cared, but I didn't. I kept my eyes closed the entire time, knowing the girl I loved was just a step away. All of that self-restraint, and she still won't talk to me. How can she see me as a friend if she doesn't even let me help her...?"

My heart raced as he turned towards me. His emerald stare caused heat to rise to my cheeks. I looked away quickly, hoping he wouldn't note my flustered behavior. "Maybe she thinks it's for the best..." I trailed off. Cat jumped off the railing and extended his baton. "Without trust, there's nothing. Ladybug out of all people should be aware of that..." he trailed off sternly. "Thanks for listening Marinette. If it's not too much trouble, may I continue visiting from time to time?" He asked sincerely. My heart skipped with his question. "S-sure..." I uttered nervously. Cat's face lit up instantly. "Thanks" he shot me his signature grin just as he hopped back on the railing. "Bonne-nuit Purrincess" he bowed just before jumping off and disappearing into the night.
