Part 43. Typhoon(AdrienPV)

"Plagg! I shouted as I sped through the rain. I raised my arm and used it as a shield to prevent debris from getting in my eyes. "Plagg!" I shouted as I ducked under another tree and rolled towards my bag. He wasn't there. "Plagg, where are you?!" I shouted as I glanced around frantically. "Kid, over here!" He rasped from beneath the broken tree trunk. "Are you okay?" I asked. "Aachooo!" He sneezed loudly. "I hate the rain" he complained dramatically. "Sorry Plagg, claws out!"

A few seconds after I had transformed, Ladybug landed beside me. Her raven hair was matted against her forehead. "Cat, have all the civilians taken shelter!?" She asked as she glanced around. "Looks like, nice to see you M'lady." I said as I bowed. "Let's put an end to this cyclone!" I nodded as I extended my baton and followed her up to the rooftops. The akuma was hovering just above the city, aggressive winds and rain tore through the streets, flipping cars and unrooting trees.

"I am Typhoon, feel the wrath of nature Paris!!" She shouted. "Hey! Looking for someone!?" Ladybug shouted as we stood beneath her. Ladybug twirled her yo-yo and I readied my baton. "Hand over your Miraculous, or I will destroy this city!" Typhoon hissed. "You won't be doing either!" Ladybug shouted as she threw her yo-yo and wrapped it around the akuma's ankle. She dragged her down forcibly. "Ladybug!" I shouted as Typhoon blasted her with a gust of wind from her ring and sent her flying into the next building over. I twirled my baton and used it as a shield as I fought back.

Typhoon tried slashing me with water, but I jumped just in time to dodge it. It slashed right through the chiminey behind me. "Woah, that's some sharp water!" I shouted as I landed behind her. I extended my baton and pinned her from the back against the wall. "The akuma is in her ring!" Ladybug shouted from the neighboring building. I nodded as I twisted her arm and reached for the ring.

Suddenly, a loud rumble echoed through Paris. "What the...?" I muttered just as the ground began to shake. Typhoon took advantage and launched a tree in my direction. "Cat!!" Ladybug screamed as she wrapped her yo-yo around my leg and pulled me out of the way just in time. I landed at her feet with a scraping thud.

"Thanks for the save, M'lady" I said as I jumped to my feet. "What was that r--!" She didn't get a chance to finish. A second rumble, followed by an aftershock made us hang onto the wall. "W-was that an earthquake!?" She asked bewildered. "Look out!" I shouted just as a large crack split the building in half. We jumped out of the way just in time as the building collapsed.

"Ha-ha-ha!" Another loud cackle reverberated through the city. "Sorry I'm late sister!" She said as she floated towards Typhoon. "There's two of them!?" We both said in unison as we stared at the pair. "I, Seismanic will reduce this city to rubble unless you hand over your Miraculous!" Ladybug and I glanced at each other fretfully as another tree flew towards us. "Lucky Charm!" Ladybug shouted after we dodged the attack. "An Ice axe?" She asked bewildered as she looked around.

"Maybe it wants us to break the ice?" I joked. "Not now Cat!" She hissed as she continued to look around. "I can't find a way to use it!" She shouted just as another gust of wind sent us both flying. We landed on the other side of the street. My heart sank as a large crack began to split the street in half. Rain poured in torriential amounts, making it hard to see. "Ladybug watch out!" I screamed as the floor began to crumble beneath her feet. I tried to run towards her, but the rain and wind were so strong, they were pushing me back. She tried to run and leap away, but the floor would crumble, making her lose her footing. My heart sank as Typhoon sent a whirlwind towards her, launching her yo-yo a few feet in front of her. "CAT!!" She screamed in a panic as the floor crumbled completely and a sinkhole opened up. Her eyes widened in terror as she fell down the hole. "LADYBUG!!!"
