Kagami was waiting outside when we pulled up. My driver got out and opened the door for her. "You're right on time, how punctual of you..." Kagami teased. "Heh, yea..." I muttered as I stared out the car window. When we arrived, the venue was already flooded with people. After thanking my driver, we made our way towards the stage, where the reserved seating awaited us.

"Sooo, what do you think?" Kagami asked as she twirled in place. "About?" I asked as I glanced around. "No sign of her yet..." I thought to myself. "About my yukata silly!" Kagami said as she fiddled with her sash. "Oh, it's wonderfully made. I can tell it was crafted in Japan" Kagami nodded happily. "As expected from Gabriel Agreste's son, you've got an eye for fashion!" I rubbed the back of my neck uncomfortably just as Jagged came out on stage.

"Good evening Paris!!!!!" Jagged screamed into the mic. Everyone cheered in response. "Are you ready to rock and riff?!" He asked in a shout. "Rock and Riff!!!" Everyone shouted just as he strummed his guitar and began to play. Regardless of who I was with, I still loved Jagged's music. He'd always been my favorite musician.

After 20mins of performing, Jagged excused himself and retreated backstage for a brief recess. Nino waved at me from the stage as he began setting up his DJ equipment. Apparently they needed an act for the intermission and Jagged himself had requested him. When he called me earlier, he was so excited I could barely understand him.

"Good for him..." I thought happily to myself just as a familiar song began to play. "This is..." My thoughts trailed off when I remembered Chloe's party. It was the first time I danced with Marinette. "Shall we dance?" Kagami asked as she held out her hand. "Uh, actually I'm kinda good right here..." I said as I rubbed the back of my neck sheepishly. "Stop being shy, come on!" She said as she grabbed my arm and pulled me to where everyone was dancing.

I glanced at the sky wearily as we swayed back and forth. I could feel Kagami's gaze on me, but I didn't care. All I could think about was her. "Hey, isn't that your friend Marinette?" Kagami asked as she signaled with her head. My head shot up in an instant. The scarf around my neck seemed to tighten, making it hard to swallow. My stomach turned when I laid eyes on the two of them dancing.

"Looks like she's here with her boyfriend..." Kagami trailed off. I shook my head exageratedly. "Oh no, he's not her boyfriend. They're just friends" I reassured. Kagami arched her eyebrow skeptically. "Are you sure?" She asked as she motioned towards them again.

My heart sank to my ankles. Luka was hugging Marinette the way we had hugged when we danced. I could feel the blood in my veins boil as he pressed his forehead against hers. "They seem pretty close to me..." Kagami muttered as we continued to sway in place. I couldn't take my eyes off them. "Are you okay?" Kagami asked as a low growl escaped my lips. "Uh...yea hehe! Just having some indigestion, that's all!" Kagami made a face but didn't say anything else.

"He's too close..." I thought to myself as he took a strand of her hair and tucked it behind her ear. The knot in my throat tightened as he nudged his nose against hers. I glanced down angrily. "He's way too close, I gotta do something. I gotta do something before--" My thoughts were interrupted by Kagami's gasp. I turned back to were she was staring.
My heart stopped when I laid eyes on them. Luka had kissed her.

My lungs refused to expand as I froze in place. "Adrien?" Kagami's voice echoed in the back of my brain. I could hear her, but I couldn't move. It was as if I had lost all control over my body's functions. My chest burned from the lack of oxygen, but I didn't care. Thankfully, the song had already ended. "I gotta...bathroom!" I managed to choke out. Kagami watched bewildered as I took off into the crowd.

"Kid you're turning blue, breathe!" Plagg shouted as I leaned against the tower. My lungs burned once I finally let out the breath I'd been holding. "I'm too late..." I whispered as I pressed my head against the tower's cold metal. "Kid, calm down. Things aren't as bad as--" "BACK OFF!!" I screamed as I punched the tower. My knuckles cracked in a sickening way.
Adrenaline coursed through me, numbing the pain. "Just back off for now..." I whispered, my voice cracking.

Without saying anything, Plagg zoomed back into my pocket. "I'm sorry Plagg... I just need to be alone right now..." I trailed off as I glanced at my bruised knuckles. "Ouch, that looks painful..." Anger bubbled in my chest when I heard his voice. "What do you want?" I asked in a hiss. Luka stood just a few feet behind me. "We need to talk."
