Why did she pretend as if we didn't know each other? Did do something wrong? Did I offend her at all?

These questions couldn't stop running through my mind as I headed to the lecturer hall with the rest of the guys. Well apart from Cameron who seems to be into this chiq, Melanie. Come to think of it Melanie and Kyla had to be friends as they were together this morning. This could make it easier to get to Kyla seeing that Melanie and I had gotten close since she started hanging out with Cameron.

To say that I was shocked to see Kyla this morning was an understatement. Hell I was more than shocked. Never in my two years at this place had I ever seen her. Not even happen to catch a glimpse of her but given that she kinda looked familiar maybe I might have.

As I bumped into her this morning I could clearly see that she was not only shocked but there was something else there. Fear. At first nothing seemed to make sense until Warren asked who she was and she stood rooted to the spot. Then it made sense. That was why I ended up saying what I did. When she looked back smiling not knowing that I was still looking at her I was sure I had scored some points with her. Why that would even matter I had no idea. I just wanted her close.

As we walked inside the lecture room I saw her. There she was with a group of girls talking and laughing. Someone from the group said something funny and there she was laughing so hard as she wiped on some tears at the corner of eyes. I could not help a smile as I watched her it was the kind of contagious laugh that leaves you grinning like an idiot. That was already my favourite sound. Just then she spotted me and everything seemed to stop as she tried to hide from my scrutinizing gaze.

"Wipe that stupid grin of your face. You look like an idiot," Warren said as he hit the back of my head.

Leave it to Warren to ruin such a beautiful moment.

"What the hell was that for?"

"Have you seen yourself right now? We have enough having to deal with Cameron. Don't need another whipped guy in the group. Jeez."

I looked back to Kyla to find her stifling back a laugh. I had never been so embarrased in my life than I actually was. I was about to walk out when I ended up bumping on the lecturer and boom I was trapped. I had to stay for the lecture.

"Easy Mr. Channell."

"Sorry." I passed Kyla as I headed to a sit at the back of the lecturer room and she was still fighting a laugh.

I was feeling kinda hurt that she would think I would let on on the fact that she worked for me but then again I understood plus honestly it was nothing to be ashamed of.

An hour into the lecture and I was already bored. We were seated at our usual spot and from there I could easily spot Kyla. I could tell that she was not paying any attention at all as she kept playing with her pencil and I thought that maybe she could use a distraction.
