Kyla's P.O.V
"Cupcake?"
"Mmhh,we'll be late if you don't get up,"Tyler says as he kisses me on the forehead. How did the weekend come to an end so fast?
"Is it Monday already?"
He laughs as he makes his way to the bathroom but I'm still too lazy to get up. I drag myself to my room and take a quick shower throw on the first thing I see in the closet and head to the kitchen. Tyler's still in his room and that gives me enough time to make some coffee for us.
I'm sipping on my cup of coffee as I hum to my favourite song as he comes out of his room.
"How are you already chirpy?"he asks as he grabs a cup and fills it with coffee.
"A nice shower and a cup of coffee can do that to you."
We make our way out of the apartment and to his car and I can see that he is sensing my hesitation to get into the car.
"Do you think it's a good idea for us to ride there together? " I ask as I look away from him. It's not that I don't want to be seen with him but he's him and I'm just me. Now I sound crazy.
"Cupcake,talk to me,"he says as he cups my face with his hands.
"It's just..what will people think when they find out I work here and that now I'm with you. They'll think that I'm using you and...,"he breaks my rambling with a kiss as he pushes my back on the hood of the car.
"Cupcake I told you I got you okay,"he says as he breaks the kiss. "You have to believe me when I say that. And who the fuck cares about what people will think or say. Certainly not me,"he kisses me again and I'm more reassured now.
"C'mon I wanna show you off already,"he says as we both get into his car and head for campus.
He parks his car when we get there and the first thing I notice is his friends and Cameron. I so don't want to run into the guy who broke my best friend's heart right now. Tyler doesn't seem to notice my dilemma as he continues to lead me to where his friends are.They do that bro hug thing they do and now all their attention is fixated on me.
"Guys this is Kyla,my girlfri....,"he doesn't finish his sentence as he's interrupted by Cameron.
"Since when do you introduce us to your girlfriends. Are you guys like serious or something?"he asks and I can't help but think of how much of an asshole he is and how much I want to punch him in the face.
"Well not everyone wants to be a man whore obviously,"this guy, Warren I think says as he extends his hand for me to shake.
"I'm Warren and nice to meet you Kyla,"he says as he pats Tyler on the back." I always knew you had good taste but damn!"This earns him a punch in the stomach from Tyler and I let out a laugh.
