It's funny how people react negatively  towards a situation and then later on act as if they did not just put you through hell with their actions.

I was finally back at campus after the incident and the 'pitiful looks' and the 'whispers' had stopped. Almost atleast. It's like people at campus expected Tyler to leave me and the moment they noticed that nothing was going to come between us they had stopped talking behind my back.

At first Tyler didn't leave my side afraid that someone was going to say something bad to me or make fun of me but after a lot of reassuring from Mel which was a lot by the way he had stopped following me around to almost all my lectures therefore missing his in the process.

My boyfriend was overprotective alright and I loved that but I knew how much pressure he was under with the family business and the last thing I wanted was to add more to that.

Mel and Tyler were back on talking terms and I couldn't be more happier. Tyler had apologized about his behaviour towards her and for once she had not been a 'bitch' about it and had accepted his apology which I was very grateful for btw.

It was Thursday and we were yet to pick our gowns for tomorrow. We had been to a lot of stores around town but had not found something that we could wear for Tyler's birthday party.
We had booked some in advance though incase we still didn't find what we were looking for today.

"Found something yet?"Tyler asks as we wait for the guys and Mel at the parking lot.

"No. All the shops we have been to didn't even have the kind of gowns we were looking for. We'll give it one more shot and if we don't find anything we'll just look for the perfect dresses or go with the ones we booked."

"Maybe you looking at the wrong places?"Tyler asked as he rubs on his neck as if he's nervous about something.

"What's that supossed to mean?"I ask not getting what he's hinting on.

"Maybe you could stop by at Macy's and see if you can find something you like?"he asks and I look at him wide eyed.

Macy's was the most expensive store not just in L.A but countrywide. They had the best designs and most celebrities and anyone who could affore their designs shopped there.

"I cant afford to shop at Macy's Tyler,"I say as I drag his name out slowly.

He slips something out of his wallet and it's his credit card. I sigh hard as I push the card back at him

"We've already talked about this more times than I can count and the answer's still no. I'm not letting you  buy me a dress."

He goes to fight me on it again but I give him a stern look and he knows better than to push it. He puts his hands up in surrender as he puts the puts the card away.

I scroll through my contacts with a worried look on my face.

"What's got you all tense all of a sudden?"he asks as he puts a hand on my shoulder pulling him closer to his side.
