Kyla's P.O.V

It's been about a month since I decided to move in with Tyler and I couldn't be happier. I received my paycheck two days ago and to say I was shocked was an understatement. I received twice the amount of what Mrs.Alyssa told me I was going to make before I started. I was definitely asking Tyler about  that when he got home.

Melanie had lent me some money to pay off Mr.Jamieson but he still couldn't stop bothering me saying I needed a man in my life. There was only one man's attention I was after and that was Tyler's.

Even though Melanie said she didn't want me paying her back I was definitely giving back her money. I couldn't leave with myself knowing I owed so much money to my bestfriend.

I was preparing dinner and couldn't wait for Tyler to show up. He had been a little busy and out of town for a while something to do with the family business and the fact that his mum was not around to look after the business meant I saw less of him since I moved in. 

He called yesterday and said he would be coming back and not leaving often and I was excited as fuck. We talked almost everyday when he wasn't around and he came to the apartment at least twice a week to check up on me and to make sure I wasn't lonely. His words not mine.He even let me invite Melanie over to keep me company once in a while.

The last time he was here things got a little heated between us,okay maybe a lot and if he didn't have a plane to catch I'm sure we would have taken whatever we had to the next level. I had learned to be comfortable around him with time but I was a little nervous about seeing him as I did not know what to expect.

My thoughts were interrupted by the front door opening. I washed my hands by the kitchen sink and hurriedly made my way for the living room. There he was looking like the god he truly was in black jeans and a while button up shirt.

"Hey cupcake,"he says as he drags his suitcase along with him as he approaches me.

"Hey."

"I missed you so much,"with that he kisses me. "You look good as always,"he says in between kisses as he kisses me all over my face and I couldn't help a chuckle.

"And you look worn out," I say as I push him back a little to have a good look at him.

"You have no idea. I wanted to come back home to you as soon as I could so sleep was the last thing on my mind after the meeting was over, "he says as he drags me with him to the couch.

"You know what? How about you take a shower and I'll bring you some food and then you can take a nap. You obviously need it," I say as I start making my way back to the kitchen.
