seven | right place, wrong timing

as taeil busily placed the meat onto the grill, the group casually caught up with lucas, waiting for the food to be cooked.

"lucas, you cannot tell me that you didn't meet ONE girl, at least ONE, in paris," taeyong complained.

"seriously, man. not even one?" doyoung agreed.

"no- i mean girls tried to flirt but i'm not in the mood to start a relationship.." lucas replied, taking a shot.

"LUCAS, WHAT THE FUCK?!" mark yelled, earning a couple of glares.

"this boy is already drunk, let me die.." taeil said whilst facepalming.

"seriously though.. girls aren't my priority right now."

"looks like SOMEONE isn't over SOMEONE.." sicheng teased.

suddenly lucas became quiet, and began chugging a bottle of beer. everyone began to stare at him, realising how he was affected.

"uhh.. FOODS READY!!" taeil announced, breaking the awkward silence.

"ladies first.." jongdae said as he held the door of the restaurant.

jane, sana and seulgi's arms were linked together as they walked inside the dimly lit restaurant; woojin and jongdae followed quietly behind them. the waiter brought them to a booth, and you could say that 'fate' did a good job as jane and lucas weren't that far apart. however, their backs were turned from eachother, so no one could've known.

"this is to our lovely jane, who will become our next top designer!" seulgi cheered, holding up a shot glass.

"cheers to jane!"

as they clinked their glasses together, lucas had SWORN he'd heard her name. he told himself it was just him missing her, he didn't bother turning around. he knew not to try anyways, he had ruined everything.
