Lydia's POV

When We first entered the Tower of Fate, everything looked so.............mystic and medieval

A holographic Kent Nelson appeared in front of me,

"Greetings, you have entered with a key ,but the tower does not recognize you. Please state your purpose and intempt." The holographic said

Wally looks at all of us with a smirk

He walks up beside me

"We are true believers, here to find Doctor Fate!" He says

The holographic magically disappears, then the ground started rumbling and then the ground opened and revealed a huge pit of lava from the ground

We fell from the surface as we all were screaming

I quickly grabbed my lasso of truth and aimed it on something to hook it on by just aiming it at the above, I felt the lasso hooked something preventing me falling into the lava

I immediately helped the person next to me which was Conner, I grabbed his strong arm as he grabs my arm to not fall in the burning liquid

M'gann quickly grabbed Wally by using her floating powers and Artemis used her grappling hook and caught Kaldur just in time, their feet on the wall as if they were rock climbing

I used up all my strength to pull us up from the lava, but I felt like we were slipping, my hand was getting really sweaty from gripping too tight

My arm was scratching against the rocky wall,

Yep that's gonna leave a few scratch marks......

I felt a thin trail of sweat coming down my face

I heard Conner scream in pain, I look down and see his feet in the lava

"Oh shoot! Conner! I'm so sorry!" I said, my face was heating up from the radiation of the lava

"Those were.....my favorite boots. This Nelson guy better be worth it." He said as his face was sweating and his teeth gritted show in anger

I couldn't grip on the rope longer because of our weight, I was about to pass out. My breathing was quickening

"We must climb out quickly!" Kaldur said

I thought for a second, the holographic asked for our question:

What was our purpose..,,

"We never truly answered.........the question" I said breathlessly

"'Hello Megan!'  Red Tornado sent us to see if Mr. Nelson........ and the helmet of Fate.......were safe." M'gann says as she was gasping for air,

I knew right away that M'gann's weakness was fire just like her Uncle J'onn ,

Hello Lydia!...hah!....oh my gods, I should stop stealing M'gann's thing...

The lava pit closed, Conner let's go of my arm and a floor covers up the lava pit floor

I release the lasso and fell on my knees, I took my time catching my breath

The rest of the group fell down as well

M'gann fainted, I walked over to her to make sure she's okay

I help her sit up,

Artemis helps Kaldur catch his breath, while his fists was on the ground supporting the rest of his body
