Lydia's POV

After a good amount of hours, I've- I mean, Tula and I have finally found the person I was trying to locate

Kaldur' was swimming slowly taking in all of his surroundings

We quickly swam over to him and interrupted his observation

"Lydia? What are you doing here?" He asks with a shocked expression

"Can you give us a moment, Tula" I said to her

She nods her head with a smile and swims over somewhere else to let us talk

I faced him the other way, leaving Tula behind

"Batman has informed me that Black Manta is planning something that's no good here in Atlantis- along with Killer Croc."

"Nonsense, before I came here Batman never said anything about Killer Croc and Black Manta being here. Why did he send you here? He should have appointed me to do this mission myself."

"Kaldur' this is Killer Croc we're talking about! H-haven't you seen how deadly he is?! You need my help or else Killer Cr-

"Sshhhh! Shh! Shh! Tula can't know what's coming! I don't want her in the hands of danger!"

"And why not? You think women can't defend themselves, Batman has sent me here myself to help you from Black Manta and Killer Croc,"

"I-I need to go right now. I cannot let my king wait long for me and Tula to show up at dinner. You need to go back to Mount Justice, I'll handle everything that's going on here- it's my home and I can protect it myself."

"You'll need back up-

"As a leader Lydia, I'm asking you to go back to Mount Justice. Tell Batman I can do this myself, there's no need for him to be extra."

"Sometimes Kaldur', a leader mustn't be afraid to get help from others just to show how they can handle everything on their own. Leaders have accompanies who watch their back- think about it."

I peer over his shoulder to look and say my goodbyes to Tula

"I was nice to meet you Tula!" I said with a smile and wave over Kaldur's shoulder

And with that, I give a disappointed look at Kaldur' and quickly swim my way back to the Zeta tube I came from

Gods! Why is he so arrogant?! A leader must not defend his or her home their self. I hope Batman won't give me another lecture once I come back..........

Kaldur'am's POV

(After dinner........also when Aqua man leaves through the portal giving a "pep talk" to Kaldur' about staying or leaving Atlantis 😝)

I have finally made my decision: I'm going to stay here in Atlantis, because of this choice it is not for myself it is for a person I deeply care about........Tula

So I had to tell Tula about my choice that I'm making and the reason why...

We were out of the palace swimming somewhere we could talk alone

We both chuckle lowly

"I-" Tula looks down

"No please Tula" I put a hand up "I have made a decision- to stay in Atlantis here with you, because of you." I grab her hand softly to show my care
