3rd Person's POV

As the sun rose above the white pale clouds at Mount Olympus, Lydia and Eros both walk up to the tall, cherry blossom tree,

Each of its baby pink petals painted the whole grass underneath the lively, magnificent tree

The warm breeze danced with the branches and falling petals in each of its own rhythm and pace

Lydia turns to the god next to her,
"Do all gods and goddesses have the ability to shape shift?"

Eros pauses for a second as he scratches his chin,
"We do have the ability to shapeshift into animals and people, but there are some god and goddess that use it for incognito,"

"Do you think it's useful?"

"You could say that..." Eros looks around to where they are now standing underneath the tree, "I like to shape shift whenever I'm in need of it,"

"So... a farm animal is what you needed?"

"All sheep aren't farm animals! They're luxurious creatures!"

"Well, I like to think that my dog Lucy is the definition of amazing-"

"Lucy?"

"Yeah, she's my Golden Retriever. Her original name was Hestia but then her owner showed up out of nowhere and-"

Eros's green eyes stares at Lydia,
"Aren't you its owner?"

"Actually, she was stolen. Long, but funny and short story," Lydia chuckles

"That doesn't sound right, you should return it back,"

"Well, the before-owner was actually okay with it. I thought he was going to have a fit because Lucy is one of his inventions... one of his androids I guess you can call it like that... ?,"

"So she's a ... what do mortals call it... 'robot' ?" Eros snaps his fingers

"Basically, maybe I dunno. She acts and eats like a normal dog, I still love her whether she's real or not"

Eros simply shrugs,

After a minute of silence, Eros's green eyes scans around the atmosphere,

Lydia sits down on a stone bench that was planted nearby,
"Where is your mother?"

"Probably occupied with her own reflection ..."

Eros finally quits pacing back and forth in search for his mother, and sits on an empty spot next to Lydia

She looks over at him,
"I'm going to guess that your mom is the goddess of ..." she pauses

"... beauty"

"Beauty"

The two-almost-but-not-sure relatives exchange glances,

Lydia nods her head,
"Right... Aphrodite, good old Aphrodite!"

"Please don't call my mother 'old' or 'ancient' or refer her as an 'elder', she takes it offensive. So if you want to be on her good side, then just give her endless compliments of herself ..."

Lydia puts her hands up in defense

Out of the blue, a peacock struts over to where the two were sitting, its full beautiful feathers stretched all the way out showing off its vibrant colors
