3 days later.....

Lydia's POV

"Good job, Young Justice. Another accomplished, yet difficult mission you've completed," Batman gives me- as everyone calls it- 'the bat glare'

"Lydia, care to explain why you're the only one covered in clay and mud," he crosses his arms and looks over at my direction

Everyone takes a step back, which leaves me to the spotlight of Batman's attention,

I hear Wally snicker behind me as I felt a slight burn on my cheeks

There was clay in my messy hair, on my suit, and on my face- I look like a child who just rolled into a pit of mud

It's a little embarrassing.....

"You see Batman, I- I didn't- well I thought- he-" I stutter in my words, trying to explain, a sigh escapes from my lips

My head hangs low, not wanting to see Batman react to my response, but I felt his burning eyes  on me

Everyone will see me as a joke if I tell Batman what occurred......

"Save it, young lady. I don't want to hear it, next time don't make the same mistake. Go hit the showers everyone, you did good,"

Once Batman finished talking, I was the first one to walk out from the main cave and to the girls' shower room,

I don't want to remind myself of the childish choices I made,

Artemis' POV

"Do you think she's okay?"

I turn around to see Lydia enveloping in a gray jacket on the small round dining table by herself

"She's fine," I walk over to the jacket-covered Lydia, I swiftly take off her jacket, "see, she's fine. Come on Lydia,"

Her head was down as her arms crossed over to disguise her face, her ponytail sliding to her left cheek

"Lydia.....Lyds......?" I softly shake Lydia

"Jmwf yefn mf lomf," She muffles as she slaps my hand

"W-What? Could you repeat that again, I couldn't understand your baby language,"

She lifts her head up to face my direction,
"I'm dreading in failure, please leave me alone," she sets her head back down

"It didn't seem that bad-"

"It was that bad, you weren't there. Ask Wally to tell you the whole story he was there with me,"

I turn back to the couch where Robin and Wally were,

"Do you actually know what happened, Robin?"

Robin shrugs his shoulders,
"Wally hasn't told me yet. Lydia seems upset about it........Should I try to comfort her?"
