Lydia's POV

"Did you like the home that I bought for us?" Diana asks while we were walking in the busy streets, while the sun is shining

"Hm? Oh yes! I liked it very much, I can't wait to move away from Mount Justice...Er..not like I hate the place or anything, it's just I want to live a normal life....away from the hero stuff." I replied with a huge grin on my face, thinking about moving away from all the missions, Batman's lectures, Wally's slobbering munching on food, Conner and M'gann's make out sessions.....etc (there's more than that)

"Speaking of normal, I wanted to talk to you about 'living normal'. You, M'gann, and Conner are going to school."

I stopped at my tracks and looked at the woman that I called mother

"As-as in learning school or school as-as in staying at home?"

"School as in learning in a building with other kids that are the same age as you!" She chuckles and wraps an arm around my shoulders and continues to walk with me

"You're going to love it Lydia, you need an education in case you want to stay here, that's the law in here; it's not like Theymiscara." She  says

"What if I don't understand what they're saying?" I worriedly says

"Lydia, my dearest, you're an Amazon. You've already learned at least a hundred different languages!"

"Forgot about that. I'm going to be alone at the school and look like a loser." I chuckle softly

Diana looks over at me, she raises an eyebrow at me and a small pout forms on her lips

"You have M'gann and Conner. Lydia, I really, really want you to have a good life where you grow and learn to become one part of this world they have created here. I want you to be happy and at the same time, work hard. Can you do this just for me?"

I can never say no to her, okay Lydia you're going to do this and live a normal life like you've always wanted for a really long time!

"Of course, mother!" I replied, Diana embraces me into a warm hug, I return the hug

"I knew you would do it, you're my brave girl." She adds

We pull away from the hug and I see fresh small tears

"Were you crying mother?" I asked

"It's just...it felt like as if yesterday Zeus brought you to life for me" Diana wipes away the tears

"You're embarrassing me! Can we please go back to Mount Justice before Batman will go again with my lecture as always" I said as I was chuckling, I wrapped an arm around my Mom's shoulders and walked her to Mount Justice which was a few blocks away

"Welcome back, How was your day ladies?" We heard a familiar robotic voice

"It was really nice to going back to Theymiscara again, thanks for asking Red Tornado" I said

"How about the house?" He asks, me and my mother walk our way to the friendly red robot

"The house is ready to go and we're probably moving the next two days, we will move into the house." She says,
