Wonder Woman and Wonder Girl

Lydia's POV

Three days later.....

The past few days have been saving people and traveling places. It is my job to do so; my mom as Wonder Woman has showed me the great potential of taking my place as the Wonder Girl and I'm very confident about me filling in this role because I get to show the people I am dedicated to this job

As Wonder Girl, there are a variety of feelings inside of me, especially when I'm around a specific someone......Richard 'Dick' Grayson

These feelings I currently have are a bit.....peculiar or strange....ever since the 'date' with Dick the feelings appear every time I'm around him. My cheeks heat up randomly whenever he talks to me or says something, or even smiles or glances at me

Missions have been a little difficult when I'm around him but I have to know that the mission is the number one priority, not the 'relationship building'

The Prince "new" Homestead
8:27 am

As my thoughts were occupying me from my reality, I exit from my new room- all ready and dressed up for my 'first day of school'

I walk into the kitchen only to see my mother finishing setting up the kitchen

She puts a box down on the floor next to her and looks up at me

"Good morning, Lydia! Are you excited for school?" She asks brightly, setting one hand on her hip

"Y-Yeah. I'm 'nervously' excited." I add the air quotes

"Don't...overthink it, that's all. You have be yourself, even if it is different or difficult." She walks over to me and lightly caresses my hair

"I love your outfit. You actually look like a Lydia!" She laughs

I had no idea what the girls at school wear, so I decided on a denim overall-skirt with a white plain shirt under it, as for my footwear I chose white shoes which makes me feel a little tall. My hair was tied up in a ponytail, a denim blue bandana ties around it as a few side bangs hang out loosely on my face.

"Thanks...I think..." I laugh nervously but still put a smile on

"Oh! I almost forgot-

"If you're forgetting about my backpack, I have it all ready it's in the living room." I motion my thumb behind me

"No, not that. A gift that your grandmother left you before you went to bed last night." She turns around and opens a drawer behind her, she takes out a gold box and gives it to me

She stands in front of me with her hands clasped together, anxiously waiting for me to open it

I slowly open the majestic box to reveal a silver bracelet with a sapphire charm

"It's magnificent, thank you." I look up at my mom

"Not me. Your grandmother." She takes the bracelet out from the box and places it on my right arm

I graze my fingers across the sapphire stone as the morning sun rays flash across it

"My grandmother has really good taste in picking out gifts" I say,

Then suddenly the door bell rings

"I think that's for me, Cassie said she'll show me the school route" I explain to my mom and then run at the door to open it
