moving to a new place is hard, especially when you're moving away from your whole family.

my dad is a programming engineer, and he just got accepted a job to one of the biggest programming companies in the country.

i am happy for him and all, but i have to leave everything behind. my friends, my family, my whole life. i even have to leave behind my mom. my parents are divorced, and my dad has main custody, so i have to move with him.

i am moving to portland. i heard it rains a lot here. i used to live in los angeles, where there was lots of sun and almost no rain there. this is going to be quite hard to adjust to.

my name is elaina may hope, and i am about to start my new life.
