"Remind me why we haven't been back here in over a year?" I ask looking at Shane.

He looks down at me, "Cause the last time we came you blamed me for pushing you off when in reality you're just clumsy."

I gasp, "You did push me off!"

"No, I didn't." He says with a smirk, "It isn't my fault you have two left feet."

I stick my tongue out at him, "Whatever."

He laughs before walking over to the ladder that is nailed to the tree.

"Would you like to go first or are you afraid that I'll push again?" He says teasing.

"Hardy har har." I walk over to him and push him out of the way.

I climb up the ladder slowly I might add with a impatient Shane below me, "Can you climb any faster?"

"Excuse me for being scared of heights." I snap back.

"Did someone piss in your food at lunch or something?" Shane barks back.

"I'm sorry. I just get nervous when it comes to heights."

"It's okay Jes. I'm right behind you," He says softly. I smile at how concerned he sounds until he opens his mouth again, "Besides why wouldn't you want to fall back on this."

I look down and roll my eyes, "You mean the nonexistent six pack."

"That hurt right here Jes." I roll my eyes before walking all the way up the ladder, making it safely into the tree house.

I look around and smile. Everything is still in the same place. The bat that I learned how to place baseball with is still in the same corner. The doll that I slept with every single night until I was ten. The small table which is surrounded by chairs that me and Shane had tea party's with when we were five.

"Shane. Please." My five year old self shouts to Shane.

"Why? I don't want to have a tea party! "

I pout at him to which he huffs and pulls out a chair, about to sit in it.

"You can't sit there! That is Miss. Dolly's seat!"

He gets up, places Miss Dolly in the chair, and sits next to her. I smile and sit down.

"Now-"

"Are you okay, Jes?" Shane asks me, interrupting my thoughts.

"Yeah, I'm fine." I say sitting down on one of the chairs around the table. "Just thinking of that tea party that we had when we were five."

"You mean the one that you forced me to attend?"

"I didn't force you!" I say with a chuckle.

"Oh yeah." He says with a smirk, "If I remember correctly you begged me until I gave in."

"That's not forcing you!" I say with a small smile.

"It kind of is babe." I don't know why but my stomach churned when he called me babe. Oh well, brush it off Jessalyn.

I roll my eyes, "I wonder if there is still anything in that fridge."

Yes. Fridge. Shane and Blake thought it would be a good idea to place a mini fridge in here a long with a small tv.

"I don't know. Is the power still on?" Shane asks me.

I get up and walk over to the light switch on the door that Shane's dad installed a few years ago. I flip the switch on and the lights flicker on.
