"Mom! Where's my bathing suit?" I shout from my room to my mom who is sitting on the couch with her phone in her hand.

"Go look in the dryer!" She shouts back not looking up from her phone.

I roll my eyes at how much she uses her phone. Sure I use my phone a lot but I have people to talk to.

I walk out of my room, into the kitchen, then to the dryer that is sitting in the right hand corner of our laundry room.

I open the dryer and scrounge through the clothes until I find my bikini that I bought a week ago just for today. Today is Jessa's family reunion and I couldn't be anymore excited. I just love her family. I've met most of them and they are just all laid back people who love to have fun. Besides her uncle has a four wheeler and I really hope that he already fixed it.

I walk into my room, throw my hair up into a messy bun and pick out a pair of blue jean shorts with my 'lol ur not Niall Horan' shirt that Jessa got me last year and throw them on my bed. I pick up a pair of colorful flip flops and throw them beside my outfit.

I slip on my teal bathing suit top that has black and white checkered line on the lining with a big bow that spreads out on my chest. I also pull my black and white lined bottoms that have a mini teal bow in the middle of the lining.

I throw on my outfit and check my hair in the mirror. It actually looks presentable so I just shrug it off and grab my phone and wallet before walking into the living room noticing Jessa, who's back is facing me, talking to my mom.

"Hey, Jessa." I say making her turn around.

I smile when I notice what she's wearing. She seems to notice the same thing since she smiles back at me.

"I like your shirt!" We both say at the same time causing both of us to laugh. She's wearing her 'lol ur not Liam Payne' shirt that I got her last year.

"Are you ready to go?" She asks me after we both stop laughing.

"Of course. Bye, mom."

"Bye, sweetie. Have fun."

"I will." I say closing the door behind me. I notice that they decided to drive Jessa's truck today.

Jessa opens the door for me and I climb in the back while she climbs in the passenger seat, "Why aren't you driving?"

"I don't know how to get there." She says to me. I just nod my head in understanding.

The rest of the drive there is pretty silent except for the occasional singing when we hear a good country song come on.

When we pull up at the Williams' house a hour later, me and Jessa literally jump out of the truck.

"Longest. Ride. Ever." Jessa says.

"You got that right." I agree with her. I grab the towel that I got from Jessa's bag and we walk up to her uncle who is messing with the music equipment.

"Hey, Uncle Steve." Jessa says giving him a hug.

"Hey, sweetheart." He says hugging her back. "How are ya doing Brook?"

"I'm great." I say with a big smile, "How's Santa working out for you?"

He laughs, "Just fine. I love working with little kids." That is another reason why I love this man. He plays Santa Clause every year whether he's sick or not just because of the smiles on the kids' faces.

"That's good." I say back.

He just nods and clicks a button on his radio and country music blasts through the speakers. Where it's at by Dustin Lynch to be exact.
