Hi y'all! This is a rewrite of Jes' chapter because I was not a big fan of the one I recently posted. So, if y'all would please forget about that chapter and read this one, that would be great. Thank y'all for sticking with me through this story, it means a lot. <3 Anyway, I'll quit boring whoever took the time to read this, happy reading (:

Four Months Later

"How about this one?" Brook asks me as we look through a rack of prom dresses.

With prom being tomorrow and I still have yet to found a dress, you can say Brook is getting irritated since I've downed every dress she's picked out.

I shake my head, "Ew, that's ugly."

She shakes her head at me, "It's pink."

"Exactly my point." I tell her and she sighs.

"We've been here for four hours, can you just pick something out already?"

"I thought you like shopping?" I ask her.

She shrugs, "I do, but I'm hungry and I like food more."

"That's true," I nod in agreement, "How about we go grab something and come back and find my dress?"

"Best idea you've had all day." Brook tells me.

I laugh, "C'mon."

We walk out A affair to Remember and down the avenue to the nearest restaurants.

I look around and think about how fast these four months have passed by and I'll be graduating Saturday.

After Shane and I said our 'I love yous' that night during Christmas break, we've been practically inseparable.

He couldn't come with me today considering I was shopping for my dress and I don't want him to see it til Saturday.

Christmas this year was pretty great to say the least, he got me a necklace which to the public would just look like any other key but I was the only one who knew how special it actually was. Shane has the matching heart on his key chain, as well as his real heart, to which he said I have for as long as I want it.

To say I was surprised would be a understatement. I was ecstatic, he's the best thing that's ever happened to me.

I got him a picture of us when we were little and a few decals and stuff he needed for his truck.

It obviously wasn't as great as his gift but Shane loved it and I was happy about that.

"Earth to Jes." Brook says waving her hand in my face, interrupting me from her thoughts.

"Sorry, I zoned out." I say sheepishly.

"Clearly." She states sarcastically.

I roll my eyes, "Sarcasm not needed."

"Oh but it was." She retorts and I shake my head, "Whatcha want?"

I think for a minute, "I kind of want a taco."

She looks around, "But there isn't a taco place around here."

I grab her arm yanking her towards my car in the parking lot.

"Well, we're gonna find one."

She groans behind me but follows me anyway.

We get in my car and set off towards the nearest taco place we can find.

--------

"Give it up, we're lost." Brook groans after five minutes of walking down the abandoned road.
