Chapter X

After our time in the Coffee Shop we made our way outside.

"So where do you wanna go." Josh started looking at me. I laughed and looked forward and just started walking. "Well...?" He trailed off.

"I don't know you are the one who invited me." I looked back into his eyes still walking.

"Well i want you to choose where we go." I sighed lightly. I thought for a while. We could just go back to his house. Or we could go to the first just outside of town. It would only take a few minutes to walk there. God I haven't been there in so long.

"How 'bout we go to the forest? I use to go there all the time. There's an open feud in the middle."

"Is this where you're gonna kill me?"

"You'll have to find out" Josh giggles at my remark. It was so cute how whenever he laughed his eyes closed a little and showed all his teeth. Even when he was done laughing his teeth still showed. It was like he was a never ending ray of happiness. It makes me wonder how can one person be so happy? It's contagious, everything about him is contagious. We walked all the way to the forest in a pleasant silence. "This is it." I started looking through the trees to the dirt trail. I few steps and stopped looking back noticing josh wasn't following. Just as I looked back I heard josh take a photo with his phone. "What was that for?"

Josh shrugged "I don't know you just looked really cute so I took a picture"

"Okay" I smiled at him and waved frantically for him to follow like a child would to a parent. He returned the smile and ran up to me. "I better not look like trash in that picture." I sassed placing a hand on my hip.

"Nope you look adorable" he emphasized his words by leaning in a little then pulling back with a smile.

"If you say so" we walked down the trail that I knew so well. Making a left turn off the trail and into the trees. They towered over us. I looked over at the red haired man next to me who was looking up to the sky which the trees hid. His mouth hung open slightly as he took in the view. I stopped suddenly causing josh to stop as he bumped into my shoulder slightly. In front of us was an open field. The grass was slightly overgrown but only went about half way up my calf. Josh was the first to step forward allowing the sun to hit up against his skin. I could have mistaken him for an angel in this moment. He spun around and looked at me his mouth now wide open, as were his eyes. "You like it?"

"Like it? It's absolutely gorgeous!" He ran up to me and grabbed my arm and pulled me into the light and we began to run around aimlessly like little children, laughing shoving playfully. This happened for a while until we both stopped to catch our breath. I looked over at Josh who was taking his shirt off. My heart began to race at an inhuman rate. I looked away blushing lightly as his toned core was revealed. "God I didn't think I was gonna be running around today" Josh laughed then looked over at me with a sly smirk. I looked at him then realized his expression. I didn't know what he was going to do but when he started at me I ran. We ran around the field, but already being tired and weak Josh caught up to me pretty easily. He tackled me to the ground. He had me wrapped in his arm laying on our sides. His hand made their way to my waist and began to tickle me. I squirmed trying to get out of his strong grasp. Soon enough he stopped tickling me, I assume out of pity of being weaker than him, but he kept me in his arms breathing heavily. I rolled around to look at him. As soon as I turned around our noses were touching. He looked deeply into my eyes his smiling fading.

"What-" I was cut off by Josh's lips on my own I relaxed into the kiss immediately. His lips moved in sync with mine. God how could one man be so perfect. Soon we both back away slightly, but only our faces our bodies remained pressed against one another. I rested my hands on Josh's bare chest. Looking down at nothing in particular smiling and biting my lip. I could feel Josh's gaze on me. Suddenly our bodies were pushed closer together and Josh's head was placed lightly on top of mine.I rested my head on his chest and moved my hands to wrap around his waist. Our breathing was uneven. I closed my eyes and focused on his breathing, his heart was racing as fast as mine. His chest slowly rising and falling to even out his breathe. I suddenly was hit with an extremely tired feeling. I felt myself slowly drift til my body was taken by sleep.
