Waiting is probably the hardest thing I've ever had to do. And now I know how my mom felt every time I got myself hurt and she had to wait.
Wait for me to get better...
Wait for me to die...
Wait for the doctors to come to her and tell her there's nothing they can do for me...
I feel like shit for always making her wait and I wouldn't wish this on anyone. It's like this agonizing pain in your chest. It grows every time a doctor or nurse comes in the room.
It grows with anticipation every time you stand outside that door hoping she'll wake up.
But although it doesn't go away it stabilizes to a dull ache when they tell you nothing has changed.
They keep telling me it's up to her. That it's her choice on whether she wakes up or not and I honestly don't know what to do.
Today my mom is bringing Savannah here and even though I don't want her to see her mother like this it'll probably wake Ly up.
"Justin why don't you go shower?" Ly's nurse Melanie says to me
