Part 13: Bro talks

Y/N P.O.V:

It was sunday morning now, I didn't stay up late last night even though I had a nap earlier because I felt exhausted after such an uneventful eventful day.

I know its contradictory because I didn't really do that much other than spend the day looking after Jimin but it was tiring just being near him let alone running around after him.

I still got up early though, because it was more of a mental drain than a physical.

Thinking back to my first day of school and then yesterday confused me because Jimin seemed like a different person, he seemed calm but then wild and unpredictable all at once, not like his usual -or at least  usual for me- hyper mischievous self.

Not only had he been acting weird but he was also calling me nicknames that were just random like "kitten" but then not letting me call him my brother or by his last name which would be expected because he's my teacher.

When I called him it out of the classroom, well maybe not out of the classroom but out of lesson time at least, he started acting differently like a switch was turned in his head.

Park Jimin, what is going on with you?

And why is it consuming practically all my thoughts?

Taehyung P.O.V:

I got in late last night to an empty house after a full day at work so decided i'd see who was awake.

I checked the living room and kitchen which where empty and then I went upstairs and knocked on Y/N's door to see if she was awake, I got no response so I thought she had headphones in so I opened the door slightly and saw that she was asleep in her bed so I left.

I then went to Jimin's room down the hall and saw the light on so knocked on and went in before he could respond.

I didn't know why but I felt like I needed to talk to one of them after Jimin's night time affairs the night before.

"Yo." I said walking over to sit at the end of his bed where he was marking books.

He looked up at me with a regretful look in his eye which instantly made my heart drop.

"What did you do?" I asked instantly stopping on my path.

"I fucked up that's what." He said pushing his hair away from his face and taking his glasses off putting them on the book he was marking.

"Tell me what happened Jimin." I said in a low voice worried about Y/N.

Y/N had to move countries and leave everything she knew behind, not only that but she had to accept a whole new family into hers, a family so confusing it was even hard for an of us to understand but we already predicted it would be this way which made things even worse.

Me and the other guys all talked anyways because we got introduced when Yoongi came over to do something and ever since that we were all friends, where as Y/N didn't have that link before hand.

Yoongi always said he could see one of us falling for Y/N because she was pretty and had a unique personality that was easy to get on with which was true, but then our parents got married so the option for falling of her went out of the doors which is why I set my view of her as a sister from day one fully accepting her.

Jimin on the other hand loved to tease her and go out of his way to do little things to annoy her, like it was some how his own little way of caring, it was weird but Jin told me he did care so I just went on with it.

But now Jimin's done something and he has that sad puppy dog look in his eyes that made me want to punch him for doing whatever he did to her.

"Jimin. Tell me what happened between you and Y/N." I said sternly and all he did was look down before putting his head in his hands saying.

"I fucked up." In a sad broken down voice.

Only then did I notice the tears streaming down his face.

Sometimes I forget that he's just a kid too, a child prodigy not much older than me.

"Tell me what happened bro." I said walking in front of him, crouching down.

"I know I... I shouldn't have. I knew I should've stayed away from her. Yoongi even warned us, he told us years before meeting her." He said before crying even more, crying what appeared to be tears of guilt.

"What did he warn us about?" I asked looking up at my hyung.

"He said one of us would fall in love with her and he was right."

His face turned red instantly after saying it with tears still streaming.

"You've fallen for Y/N?" I asked to make sure he knew exactly what he was saying.

"I'm so stupid. I'm so pathetic." He said still on his stream of thoughts.

So that was it, that was why Jimin hyung was treating Y/N different than the rest of us, because he loves her.

The situation isn't ideal but I can't help but want to help him because i'm in a position just like him, a position where I can't control who I love even though I hate it.

And honestly who can blame him for falling for Y/N she was pretty, friendly and had a smile that could light up a room with a child like heart which alone would be enough to charm a person.

"Your not stupid hyung, maybe a little pathetic but that's about it." I said trying to cheer him up and comfort him.

"You can't control who you fall for, and you never asked to be related to her. Even though it's a bit strange everything in this world is, it isn't incest its just a marriage thing that could end at any point making you not related that's a simple as it is. So that at least makes it's legal here in our unique world built to tell a story without getting judged." Oops I slipped into the laws of this randomly built universe which allows relationships between student and teachers as well as none blood related siblings aka step siblings.

"I guess your right there, who ever made this world this way must really love cliches." He said looking up now with a slight smile but still with tears in his eyes.

"Hey at least your not getting your college to fund holidays for you and your boyfriend like Jin hyung is, so don't sweat it." I said trying my best to make him feel better like he did for me when I told him about the guy I like...

"It's still not right Tae, I shouldn't have feelings for her and I know I shouldn't. It's not fair on her and it's tearing me apart." He said getting the frown back on his face.

"Fine then hyung, you're a monster. You're the vermin off this earth and everythin gwrong with it." I said sarcastically.

"See you don't like it when I say it so don't say it about your self." I said trying to turn his views from actuality to a joke.

"You only said the truth." He responded coldly.

Time for plan Z, I wasn't prepared for any of my other plans so this will have to do.

"Damn it hyung there's no winning with you." I said picking up a pillow and hitting him a cross the head.

"Why you little-"

RUN.

I then locked my self in my room after a chase around the house two times where I am to this point.

Poor Jimin Hyung, I know exactly how he feels, trapped by the fear of other peoples opinions.

All I can do is support him from the side lines, I see nothing wrong with it as long as it's what they both want.

But for now it's time I should get ready for work, I don't start for a few hours but its better to be early than late.
