Huh, Jungkook?

"Hello~" I said joyfully trying to hide the thoughts I was just having.

"Heyyy" He said before we both started breaking out laughing randomly.

"What you doin next weekend?" He asked me trying to stop laughing.

"I'm not sure yet, why?" I responded curious.

"Well you see we've both been invited to this party, one of the girls from school came into my work today and gave me a invitation and said I could bring a plus one."

I can sense that bunny grin on his face right now through the phone.

"So what you mean is you got invited to a party and need a friend to go with you." I said in a monotone voice.

"Pleaseeeee~" He said in a overly cute voice.

"Can't you just ask Tae, parties aren't really my type of thing." I said back very quickly remembering how socially awkward I got in big groups of people.

"I'd ask Tae but he said all the girls jumping all over him makes him uncomfortable plus I think it's a good way for us to meet more people." He explained innocently.

"Wow I'm offended. Jungkook you clearly don't see me as a good enough friend. I see how it is, your trying to replace me already." I said in a joking voice.

"Y/NNNNN you know that's not what I meant." He said back.

I could see the mental image of him rolling his eyes at me.

"Why can't you go with someone else?"

"Because I don't know anyone else other than you and Tae and your brothers."

"Why can't you take one of themmm?"

"Well I can't really show up with Mr Park now can I?" He said in response with a more sarcastic tone in his voice.

I really don't want to go but I can't leave him to go alone.

"I'd go alone but I wouldn't feel comfortable doing that. And I know it's not your type of thing but even if we only talk to each other I think it'll still be fun." He explained before I could respond.

"Okay..." I said in a defeated voice.

"Okay? OKAY!" He said before clapping and carrying on.

"Thank you thank you thank you Y/N. Your the best and I love you and I'm so lucky to know you and I don't deserve you." He said really quickly.

"It's fine just know I'm only doing this for you, I ideally would be in bed watching TV."

"Thank you~" He said again sounding super happy.

"Is that all you wanted?" I asked prepared to hang up feeling defeated.

"Actually it isn't. I just left my shift and Tae is working till later and he seemed a bit down. I haven't had the chance to talk to him and when I get home I have to do homework so I won't be able to until tomorrow and I'll probably see you before then. Can you tell him I hope he's okay and I'm here when he needs me please?" He said in a concerned voice.

"I will do kook so don't worry, I'm pretty sure he knows that anyways with how close you both are." I said back in a soft voice.

"You think we're close but we couldn't be anymore distant right now..." He said his voice trailing off.

What did he mean by that.

"Is everything okay Kookie?" I asked concerned for my friend.

"Yeh it'll sort it's self out so don't worry. Anyway thanks Y/N I guess I should let you get back to doing what you were doing. I'll see you tomorrow."

"See ya." I said before handing up the phone.

Ugh I really don't want to be going to a party next weekend let alone with people from school.

This is gonna be fun, and of course I'm being 100% sarcastic.
