Part 21: Tae

Y/N P.O.V:

All I have to do now is wait for Tae to come in from work then I'll ask him what's wrong.

And just like that I heard the front door open from downstairs.

I left my room and went to go find him.

"Hey Tae~" I said sounding happy walking towards him with his back turned away from me.

"Hey Y/N..." He said in a sad, worried voice.

"Is everything okay?" I said walking in front of him so I could see his face.

He'd been crying.

"Yeh everything's fine." He said his voice now breaking and tears swelling up in his eyes.

Tae...

I pulled him towards me hugging him carefully with him instantly hugging me back breaking down in tears.

"What's happened?" I asked in a gentle voice.

"Everything." He said before crying more.

He's such a gentle and sensitive person, I can't help but worry for him.

"Come on now, give me more detail and I'll see what I can do to help." I said gently patting his head trying to comfort him, I've never really been good with that.

"It's just everything with works been building up and then this girl came into work today and asked kook to go to a party and he looked so excited about it but he doesn't understand how dangerous these places are or the people who go." He said before crying more.

I don't think this is just it but I won't pester him about it he'll tell me when he's ready.

"Hey, I'm going with Kook to that party so try not to worry about him because I'll be looking out for him when we're there." I said now slightly glad I got talked into going.

"Thank Y/N..." He said hugging me tighter.

"As for work it might be better for you to take some shifts off and drop a few of them completely. Your over working your self with school, clubs and work which won't be helping." I said trying to look at his face.

He's hiding his face from me, he must not want me to see him crying.

"I know..." He said in a muffled voice finally calming down.

Suddenly he pulled himself back placing his hands on my shoulders looking concerned.

"You need to be careful to, if not more careful. The guy who holds these parties girlfriend just broke up with him and since your a cute girl he might start hitting on you and then god knows what could happen." He said somewhat panicked.

"I know Tae this isn't the first party I've gone to, just keep me away from alcohol and we're fine because I don't keep track on how much I drink." I said in a joking voice even though I was being serious.

"I couldn't imagine you drunk." He said with a slight smile on his face.

"I'm clingy, it's fun for everyone but me." I said before laughing.

"This parties a bad idea, I'm even more worried now." He said losing the slight smile he had.

"Kook will be fine, I promise."

"It's not just kook I'm worried about."

"Everything will go okay." I said trying to offer some comfort with words.

"If anything happens phone me and text me every time you get a new drink." He said.

"I will do. Now I've got some homework to do I'm gonna go do it."

"Aren't you gonna take what you came down here for?"

"I came down here to check on you." I said before running up the stairs.

I sent a text in the family chat saying I was going somewhere with Jungkook on Friday, then sent kook a text saying Tae was okay.

Then I started doing homework before falling asleep.
