Part 28: Jealousy

Y/N P.O.V:

Okay so the first holiday of the term is coming up this week which gives me a chance to talk to Jimin and figure out what's up with him.

Imma give it a week, since it's a two week holiday, then i'm going to try and distract myself and give it more time.

I'm not ready to accept that his personality has just changed.

One week until school breaks up and then one week before I lose hope; so basically two weeks until my literal hell happens because I don't want to lose him or whatever is left to lose between us.

The most annoying part is that I don't know what is or was between us and every attempt I've made to understand led to more confusion.

I'm just going to go to sleep for tonight and then try to get through this last week as fast as I can.

------ The next morning before class ------

Everybody was taking their seats in class when another teacher walked in going over to Jimin.

"Good morning Jiminie~" She said practically yelling so that everyone could hear.

The class went silent not even seconds after she spoke, it was instant with everyone taking their seats look towards them at the front off the class.

Class wasn't meant to start for 15 minutes.

"Good morning Miss Smith." He said putting his book to look at her, smiling.

"Come on now Jiminie you should know by now to call me by my first name Lisa." She said winking at him.

Wow, she looks like she should be a model, she's so beautiful.

I think she'd look even prettier without all the make up she had caked on her face and wearing clothes that didn't show practically all of her but i'm not here to judge her appearance or confidence, if you've got it and confidence show it; but it is a little intimidating.

"How can I help you this morning." Jimin asked removing his glasses from his face.

"I just wanted to know if you wanted to go out again tonight like we did on Friday about a month ago now, less formal than last Friday with the other people from work." She said leaning on his desk playing with the edge of his tie.

"She's flirting with him." Jungkook whispered to me.

"No shit." I mumbled back feeling annoyed for no apparent reason.

"Uhhh give me a second." Jimin replied taking his phone out before getting a slight smile on his face.

"Do you remember him going out a month ago?" Jungkook asked.

I stopped to think about it which made my heart drop in my chest.

It must've been the weekend when he stayed out over night and ended up getting lost; so he did know who he was with.

"I'm free tonight after a meeting at 4." Jimin responded looking up at her.

"There goes my lift tomorrow morning." I mumbled to Jungkook who's face showed his instant realization.

"Y/N!" A voice yelled breaking the silence in the class.

It was Haru.

"Good morning Haru." Jimin said as he walked throught the door.

"Good morning Mr Park, class doesn't start yet does it?" He asked placing his bag near his desk.

"No you have another 10 minutes at least to chat." Jimin responded hesitantly.

"Sweet, Y/N what are you doing tonight?" Haru asked walking over to me with a bright smile on his face before crouching down next to my desk, everyone's eyes now on us.

This is so awkward because of how quiet that other teacher made the class go.

"Yep... why?" I said quietly trying to prevent the class from hearing our conversation.

"I got two free tickets for that film you said you wanted to see in the group chat from a raffle and it's for tonight. I was wondering if you still wanted to go?" He said smiling at me brightly.

Oh I forgot that I wanted to go and re watch My favourite film in the cinemas since it's being re-shown.

"If your okay with it." I said laughing smiling back at him with Jungkook with a bigger smile next to me.

"Of course i'm okay with it, I love spending time with you, so are we calling it a date or are you not cool with that?" He said now slightly blushing.

A date? Well I don't see whats so wrong with it because it's not like i'm dating anyone plus we're friends so I may as well give it a shot, plus it's a free film.

"...Sounds good." I said not so confidently before breathing out and then giving him a wide smile.

His entire face lit up as Jimin's expression dropped.

"I should get ready to teach the class so could you text me the plans please Lisa." He said giving her a forced smile which could've fooled anyone, anyone but me.

"Okay~" She responded happily leaving the class looking slightly annoyed the attention was taken from her.

Honestly she can have all the attention from the people in my class because I don't want it.

"I have to go home after school and the film doesn't start until half seven so am I okay picking you up at six?" Haru asked ignoring the reactions of the people around us who were all shocked.

"Yep, i'll text you my address now." I said getting my phone out and typing it in before clicking send.

"Who's the ignorant Jerk?" Jungkook asked reading my text history.

"Huh? Oh yeah that's one of my step brothers, he keeps ignoring me for no reason and being a dick." I said still somewhat annoyed from the girl who spoke to Jimin, which I still don't understand why.

"Is it the middle one?" Jungkook asked loudly, knowing that Jimin was ignoring me at every chance he had.

"Yep." I said simply trying to end the conversation but still leave it open for Jungkook if he wants to say anything else, which a part of me wants him to and a part doesn't.

"He's just being a jerk, he isn't worth the time. At least you get to go out and have fun tonight away from him and any stress related to him." Kook said resting his chin on my shoulder smiling causing me to smile back.

"I'll make sure he doesn't ruin tonight." Haru said winking at me before going to his seat.

Wait... I just realized how much Haru winks at me; has he been flirting with me without me noticing?

That's embarrassing but not as embarrassing as everyone staring.

Jimin P.O.V:

Is she being serious?

Is she going out of her way to try and make me jealous?

I only agreed to tonight to try and forget about you for a bit but then you happily make plans to go on a date right in front of me in class were I can't do anything about it.

And i'm the ignorant one...

You're clearly ignorant to my feeling towards you...
