Oakley's POV

Mom said I'd miss the bus, however, I was actually a few minutes early. But, that's just my mom I guess, always organizing everything and making sure everything's just right. At the bus stop, there was a short girl, holding her hands in front of her and looking down. She was about 5'3 and her long, straight, black hair, was at the both sides of her face so I couldn't really see what she looked like.

The bus arrived and the girl stepped into the bus. I followed behind and the bus driver smiled at me. "You must be Oakley. Go sit down where your name is." He said. I nodded and walked down the bus to where I saw Oakley. But, it was underneath the name Violet and sitting in that seat was the girl with black hair. I sat down and the bus started to drive. Violet remained silent. Hm. I tapped on her shoulder. She turned to face me, and I could see what her face looked like. She had beautiful chocolate brown eyes, pale skin and, her cheeks were rosy red. She looked at me, with a confused expression. "Hi.
My names Oakley.. I'm new to the school and I didn't go to the elementary school beside it." The school had also an elementary school right beside it, so mainly the people who were there for sixth grade, just went to the middle school beside it. Violet blinked twice, then turned away to look out the window again. Hm. I tapped on her shoulder again. She turned to face me and had an annoyed expression. "I um, well, I don't have really any friends yet and I guess I just wanted to talk to you?" Violet looked- confused. Why she was confused, was a mystery to me. But, she took a deep breath and quietly spoke. "H-hi. I'm Violet Parks.. I- I went to the elementary school beside this one. There.. we talked.. now, please just leave me alone.." She had a very soft voice which made it difficult to hear her but I just barely could. She put her headphones on and turned to look out the window again. Guess she didn't want to talk. I turned to look to the side beside me. Nobody there. Yet. The bus stopped and a girl with light brown hair and forest green eyes sat down in the seat next to me. I looked at the name plate. June. Her name was June. And she seemed much nicer than Violet. But I still couldn't get over the way Violet spoke. Her voice soft, so calm, like there wasn't anything wrong. But, if she wanted to make it seem like nothing was wrong, she's doing a very bad job at it, since I can see that somethings wrong. But I guess, that some people just want to pretend like nothings wrong, pretend like they're happy. Some people don't pretend that they're even happy. Some people just put on a blank face and keep quiet. And that's Violet.
