Oakley's POV
There were three girls in front of the mirrors. Two I recognized. June, the girl on the bus, and Violet. The other one was average height and had short obviously dyed blonde (but it looks more like an orange) hair and big blue eyes. She was in one of my classes but I couldn't remember her name. The door shut behind me and they all turned to me. "H-Hey! What're you doing in here, you perv?!" June yelled. "I-I'm sorry, I was looking for History class and accidentally stumbled in here!" I was very embarrassed and my face was red. Violet just looked— confused and the other girl had a weird smile on her face.
I rushed out of the girls washroom as the tardy bell rang. I speed walked into History class and the teacher just gave me a smile. I sat in a seat and sighed. I was still very embarrassed and my face was still red. I looked very weird and some of the kids gave me odd looks, but I ignored it.
I couldn't concentrate on class, since I was worried what Violet was gonna think of me. Would she think I was a perv? It really was an accident. I usually don't care about what others think about me but for some reason, I didn't want Violet to hate me. I felt a hand on my shoulder and snapped back to reality. Quinn was in front of me. "Hey, are you okay? The bell rang a minute ago and I peeked my head into this class and just saw you sitting still, so I wanted to make sure you wouldn't be late to your next class." I must've looked like a doofus. Oh well. "Oh, sorry, I'm fine. I was just lost in thought, ya know." I said, with a shy smile. Quinn nodded. "Well, what class do you have next?" He asked. "English." Quinns face lit up. "I have English too." So with that, we both got our English books from our lockers and walked to class together.
It was the end of school and I had just waved bye to Quinn, who was staying after school to run extra laps. I got onto the bus and Violet was sitting down in our seat, like usual. I was still very nervous about what happened earlier and hoped she didn't hate me. I took my seat next to her and looked away, my face red. Just remembering it made me cringe. How did I mistake History class for the girls washroom! "Were you really just looking for History class?" I heard a quiet voice ask that and I turned to Violet. I nodded "I swear, I'm not the type of person to go peeping on girls, I didn't mean to." Violet smiled. "I believe you. June thought it was an honest mistake, so you're fine there, but the other girl, Emma, thought you were lying." And with that, Violet turned back to the window and stopped talking.
I could honestly care less about what June or that Emma girl thinks about me, but as long as Violet believed me, I was happy. If Violet thought I was lying and just wanted to peep on girls, she'd probably hate me and never talk to me again, but I'm glad she doesn't think that way.
