The male lion shifter was very attractive. He had dark bronze skin, and long black, and natural dreads. His smile revealed a dimple in his left cheek, and his eyes were hazel. He had a carefree air about him, and his body was well maintained.

“There he is.” Misty breathed out, a look of wonder on her face. “I feel like he’s mine. There’s this feeling inside of me that makes me want to run over to him and claim him.”

The male was mingling with other shifters, and a few fairy women that all seemed to surround him. He was the center of attention, not because of his looks, but because he was talking the loudest and causing everyone to laugh in the group.

“So, what are we going to do?” Raven asked in a bored voice.

That was a good question. How did Misty expect to get the male’s attention if he didn’t even knew she existed.

“Happiness makes a woman glow. We’re going to make it look like Misty is having the most fun in her life, so that he can’t help to look at her, and once he looks at her, he won’t be able to look away.” Asherah said confidently.

We jumped into the water, and we immediately were the loudest ones in the water. At first we were faking our happiness to try to get his attention, but soon our laughters of joy became real, and our faces no longer strained to show how happy we were. Ash splashed me, and Misty dunked Raven. Raven came back up sputtering, and she cracked the smallest of smiles.

Misty and I got out of the water later, and trotted over to the stand that was giving out drinks. The stand looked like a random shack with people mingling around it and sharing laughs.

“Can I have two coconuts please?” Misty asked, not even asking  me if that's what I wanted.

“Uh Misty, I don’t even like coconut.” I tried to explain.

“Trust me, you’ll like this one.” She smiled at me, and I couldn’t help but to smile back.

“Here you go.” The guy working the shack handed our coconuts to us. They were split in half and both have a milky substance in it.

I stare at mine as Misty greedily drinks hers.

        “Drink it.” Misty encourages me.

I placed my lips on the coconut and I take a small sip. The liquid is smooth against my tongue and throat. A burst of energy zapped through me, and a subtle hint of apple graced my tongue after I swallow the small sip.

“Holy crap. This is delicious.” I gasped.

        “I told you!” Misty giggled.

“Hey Misty, I haven’t seen you in a long time. Where have you been?” A deep cheerful voice called out to us.

Misty turned around into the direction I was already facing, and there was the male shifter Misty had a crush on.

Misty turned beet red, and she did an awkward smile. “Oh Julian, hey. I’ve been uh, I’ve been busy.”

Julian chuckled and his dimples appeared. Suddenly I saw what she meant by a shifters sex appeal. “Busy? With what?”

“With uh, um…” Misty couldn’t answer so I did for her.

“With showing me around this place. Hi, my name’s Noelani. I’m new here.” I stuck my hand out politely, and Julian smiled at me as he took it. I felt Misty stiffen beside me, and I dropped his hand as if I had been burned. I didn’t want to give either of them the wrong idea. Besides, there was another hard headed male that occupied my mind.
