Chapter Ten

I was just finishing up my outfit for the knighting for my beautiful sweetie. I had finally placed the toy tiara, that we found in boxes of Kate's childhood stuff, on a top of my head and smiled as I looked at myself in the mirror. Show time. I grabbed the foam sword, that we also found within the boxes, and carried it as I made my way towards Kate. Kate was dressed up in what she made make shift ripped up clothes, and apply her own version of 'war paint.' It was cute and adorable as I looked at her and smiled. "Hello my loyal subjects of Boring, Kingdom of the brave, and the boring," I started off my speech and Kate let out a chuckle and I playfully hit her. "We are here today for me, Princess Dork, to Knight thee, Kate Messner, as my Knight Sweetie," I said as I posed my chin up high and proud with a smile. Another chuckle escaped Kate's mouth, and again I playfully hit her, and she mouthed the word 'ow.' I rolled my eyes. "I hereby Knight, Kate Messner, as Sweetie Addario," I said as I tapped the foam sword on each side of her shoulder, returning it to the right side with a smile. I could see Kate's face grow a smile fully across it as I said 'Sweetie Addario.' She got up and attempted to wipe off her war paint, but failed. She grabbed hold of my face and kissed me. "I love my princess," she said after she parted her lips from mine. Leaving me to form a smile across my face, and start to blush a tiny bit. "And I love my sweetie, who is now my knight to forever protect me," I said with a chuckle as I put my hands around her neck and kissed her this time.

Kate held my hand as we sat on her bed and just cuddled talking about, well everything possible. "I think it's time for you to get going home," she said with a sigh and I frowned. "Really? I really wish I could just stay the night," I said as I looked up to her and gave her my puppy dog eyes. "I'm sorry but then my dad would know I snuck you in," she said as she kissed my forehead slightly, still having a frown placed upon her face. "It's okay, it's not too long, plus I may dream about you," I said with a little wink. She shook her head and placed another kiss on my forehead as she squeezed my hand tighter. "I love you baby girl," she said as she looked at me with the most lightest and cutest smile I've ever seen. "I love you too," I said as I buried my head into her. "Come on, cuddling for now is over," she said as she got up from the bed and attempted to pull me with her. "Ugh fine," I said as I got up as she started to pout. She grabbed my hand and pulled me to the stairs and led me down with her. She stood in front of the door and slowly unlocked it and opened it. "Kate, I'm ready," I said and she looked relieved, or nervous, I couldn't really tell. "Ready to uh, come out?" She asked stuttering a bit. I shook my head yes, and she smiled at me. "Okay, well good luck if you're doing so with your mother, and does that mean you'll be holding my hand tomorrow?" She asked as she smiled greatly at me. "I don't know about my mom yet, but I will be holding your hand tomorrow," I said as I smiled at the thought of holding her hand through the halls, I began to walk backwards at the door before Kate stopped me. "Wait," She said as she grabbed hold of my arm. She leaned in and kissed me lightly and handed me a tape. "It has me singing on it," she concluded with a smile. I shook my head and smiled, "Goodbye Kate, I love you sweetie, may we meet again," I said as I walked out the door and slowly down the steps. "Bye Em'! I love you too! May we meet again," she said to me as she saw me off and shut the door. I smiled, today was truly amazing.

I reached my house, and it was clearly late. I walked up to the door, and quickly grabbed the key from my pocket and unlocked the door. As I walked on in, the clock above one of the doorways read '11:30 p.m' just in time. No one should be awake now. I tipped toed my way into the kitchen and towards the basement door. Not many people knew but just recently I had moved my room downstairs into the basement. I thought it would be better, and it was an easy move down their. It also meant more privacy. I tipped toed down the stairs towards my room. I smiled as I got down their. My room had all sorts of decorations everywhere. I had posters of celebrities, and big role models. Especially actors. On another part of the room, was some what of an dark room, I was really into photography, and I plan to do more. On that same side of the room were white, or my preference of calling, fairy lights. Along them hung multiple polaroids from my camera. I smiled as I looked at one I had took of Kate from afar. I took the Walkman that was on my bedside table, and inserted the tape Kate had made me of her singing. Listening to music late at night was one of my favorite things to do, especially before bed. I threw on my headphones, and pressed play on the tape. The beautiful angelic voice of Kate came on and I smiled. She sounded so truly amazing, and like an angel. The song she was singing was from Tori Amos' album, it sounded familiar since that's all Kate would play. It was the song called "Winter" from Tori's album Little Earthquakes. I loved hearing her voice singing the song, it was truly beautiful, and her voice was mesmerizing. I was falling more and more in love with this girl. The next song that came on the list was classical, "She's Electric" by Oasis. Once again her voice synced with the song perfectly, and I could tell she was singing this about us. The next one, the last one I listened to before I decided to go to sleep, was even more special, "Ordinary World" by Duran Duran, truly my favorite song of all time. And now even more in love with it since she's singing it. I smiled as I played the song over and over about 4 times. Then I finally took of the headphones, and set them and the Walkman aside on my bedside table. I checked the clock that was there and it now read '12:07' it was time for a well rest. I flipped over onto my left side and shut my eyes. I started to doze off and before you know it, I'm asleep. Asleep happy.

The clock beside me, and the phone within the room were both ringing. I fluttered my eyes open not wanting to wake up due to the amazing dream I was having. Kate and I were in the locker room with no one else within it and were doing some things. We were making out, and this time I had Kate pinned against the wall. But now the dream was over. My eyes were open and I shut my clock off. The time read '7:14' there was still another half hour before I really needed to be awake. But there was no use now. The phone was still ringing I got up out of the bed, and slumped my way over to it. I picked it up and answered, "Hello?" I asked whoever was calling me. "Hey," the soft sweet voice said to me. I knew who it was already. It was my beautiful girlfriend, Kate Messner. "Hey," I said as a smile spread across my face, even though she couldn't see it, I know she knows it's there. "Did I wake you? If I did, I'm so sorry," she said with a bit of a chuckle. "It's okay, I was actually having a dream about you," I said as I felt my face grow red as I thought about it. "Oh really?" She asked with a tone of seduction evident. "Y-Yeah," I said with a stutter, the dream was truly an wet one. "Interesting, What was it about?" She said to me, and I could tell she was smirking at me. "U-Uh, u-umm," I couldn't speak and she laughed at me. "Was it about us?" She asked and once again I could tell something about her I couldn't see, which was that she was raising an eyebrow. "M-maybe," I said to her and she giggled. "Well, what did we do?" She asked clearly curious to my wet dreams. "Well, we were well m-making o-out and a such," I said slowly and still stuttered. "Do you wish to make out now?" She asked and I nodded my head even though she couldn't see. "Y-yes," I finally spoke and she seemed as though she was relieved, I could hear an sigh come from her. "How bout' you get dressed and all ready, and meet me at the tree house?" She questioned me. "Totally, of course," I responded trying to keep my cool even though that was humanly impossible around Kate. "I'll see you there then baby girl," she said. "I'll see you there sweetie," I said as she hung up the phone. A big huge smile was placed upon my face.

I finished up getting dressed, and began to grab my backpack and anything else needed for the day. I walked my way up the stairs and out of the basement, and made my way to the kitchen to grab a pop tart for me and Kate to take along. I was out the door before any of my family could be awake, and I started to make my way down the path to the beautiful spot for me and my girlfriend. It was more of a jog then it was a walk. I was really in the need to kiss her lips, and just genuinely be with her right now and next to her. For once I was ignoring the nature around me, and quickly made it to the entrance of the treehouse in a good 10 minutes. I smiled as I saw thee beautiful Kate lay beside the tree as usual. I smiled as I walked up to her. "Hey, good lookin," I said cheeringly as I walked up next to her. She smiled and began to stand up as she saw me. "Hey," She said as she walked up to me and engulfed me in a hug. "I missed you," I said as she parted from me and she shook her head and laughed. "It's only been a few hours," she said as she grabbed hold of my hand. "Well I basically had a wet dream about you last night so," I said as I swayed our arms back in forth. She smirked at me, "So does that mean that the dream you had made you wake up horny?" She asked with a laugh. Kate seemed more confident in this stuff then I was, but I still go tell she was awkward about saying horny, or even talking about it in general but it was still cute. I smirked and raised an eyebrow, "Of course it did, dumbo," I said as I playfully hit her arm and she chuckled. I seriously had an obsession with playfully hitting her. Obvious sign of my big ass crush on her. Thank god she's mine. "Well that's a good thing," she breathed out as she looked at me and just smiled. "Come here and kiss me already," I said as I turned her around to face me. And then she did as I told and kissed me. Then continued to kiss me for quite a while. We parted from each other and she smiled at me. "I love you and your adorableness Emaline," She said to me as she picked up my hand and gently placed a kiss on it. I smiled at her and then interlocked our hands. "I love you," I said to her as I once gain swung our hands back in forth. "This is so quiet, and peaceful, you sure you're ready for the madness to come at school?" Kate asked me as she looked at me all seriously. "I know it is, and we all need a little madness, so yeah, I am, as long as I got you," I said as I turned and kissed her on her cheek. She grew a bit red and I smiled. "Let's go do this thing!" I exclaimed as I used my free hand to put a fist within the air. She laughed at me, but did the same exact thing, "Let's do this! Together!" She said. I looked at her and smiled, I was genuinely ready for people to know. I am happy no matter what people say about us and our relationship. It's the realest thing I've ever experienced.
