Chapter Thirteen

We were hand in hand as we walked to Luke's house to see if he had any beer. Kate knocked on the door, and then came answering was none other than Luke himself with a smile. "Hello ladies," he said pulling the door open for us to enter. "Hello Luke," we both said in unison as we entered his house and took a seat on his couch. "We were wondering Luke, if you had any Zima or other types of alcohol, and if not if you know someone who could get us some," Kate said as she sat down next to me and grabbed my hand. "Well matter of fact, I do have some Zima, and I can get more, but we're gonna have to invite Tyler and McQuaid for this since it is my Zima," he said as he smiled. "Okay, that sounds cool," I said to him even though I rather go back to my house and drink with Kate, alone. "Okay, then it's a party!" Luke exclaimed as he got up and made his way to the phone. "Well, looks like no getting naked then," I said upset to Kate and she chuckled. "It's okay baby, you really did want to get naked and drunk, god I love you dorkems," she said as she kissed my cheek which made me blush. "I love you too, sweetie," I said with a smile to her. "Okay ladies! Tyler and McQuaid are on their way! Let's get this party started!" Luke said as he made his way to the kitchen. "We should really invite more than just Tyler and McQuaid, how bout' we call Leslie, Jessica, Cedric, and Scott, he'll make the time hilarious," I said to Kate with a smirk. This would be perfect to play games like spin the bottle, and truth or dare. "Okay, I'll go call them," Kate said as she got up and walked over to the phone. This party might actually be fun, other than the one where the A/V club barged into drama club territory, that was kinda lame. Especially since Jessica wouldn't let me go into the prop closet with Kate since we're both girls.

Kate walked back over, and sat down beside me. She smiled at me, "They're all coming, and I called my dad, even though it's a school night he said I can stay the night at your place since we're having a party, I told him with no alcohol though," she said with a chuckle as she grabbed my hands and kissed my cheek. "Okay, well that sounds good, I get to have you at my house tonight," I said with a smirk. "Oh my god stop it," she said as she blushed and hit me playfully. "Ouch," I said with a pout. "I'll kiss you to make it feel better," she said to me and I smiled. "Yes!" I exclaimed in my baby voice with a smile plastered on my face. She then kissed my lips and I kissed her back, feeling laid back from her kiss. Kissing her just makes me feel so happy, and special. "There you go dorkems," she said with a smile. "I love you," I said as I kissed her cheek this time. Luke walked back over and sat down on the chair again and smiled at us. "You two are such a cute couple," he said with a smile. "Thank you," I said with a smile at him. I'm glad he's gotten over Kate, and that he supports our relationship. "Um, by the way Luke, we may or may not have invited Leslie, Jessica, Scott, and Cedric," Kate said to him with a whoops face expression. "Well then, that's a bigger party, more fun!" He exclaimed. Kate and I looked at each other and laughed while shaking our heads. We heard a knock on the door, and I got up to go answer it since I was the closest to the door. I opened it to reveal Scott and Jessica. "Hello," I said as I opened the door all the way for them letting them into the house. "So where's the alcohol?" Scott asked as he took a seat on one of the other chairs in the room. "I'll get it," Luke said as he walked out to the kitchen. "Hey Kate, and Emaline," Jessica said as she walked in and took a seat near Scott. "Hey," Kate said with a smile as I sat back down and she grabbed my hand, and held it. "So are you two a thing yet or?" Jessica asked with a raised eyebrow. I blushed and shook my head 'yes.' "Great," she said looking happy, but also kinda sad. "So what about you two?" Kate asked them. "Oh, hell no," Jessica said laughing at the question. I heard another knock on the door and began to get up, but then Kate pulled me back down. "I got it dorkems," she said as she got up. She walked over to the door and answered it. I couldn't see who it was until Kate let them in. It was Tyler and McQuaid. "Hello," said McQuaid as he took a seat on the floor next to where Scott was sitting. "Hey Emaline," Tyler said with a big smile. "I'm so excited about this party," he said with a laugh as he sat on the couch next to me. "You've never been to a party before have you Ty?" I asked him as I laughed. "No I haven't," He said now laughing. "Hey," Kate said as she date beside me and kissed my cheek. "I missed you!" I exclaimed as I kissed her on the lips. "Okay, y'all I have thee Zima!" Luke said as he walked in with 3 packs of Zima. "Woohoo!" Scott exclaimed as he got up to help Luke with the Zima. "Finally, let's get drunk!" I said out loud as I walked over to them and grabbed two drinks. One for me and one for Kate. I smiled as I gave Kate hers. "Cheers!" I said as I opened mine and bumped it with hers and began to drink.
