Ch. 8 Avoiding Him Like The Plague

It's been two weeks since Will kissed me. We haven't talked much and that's because I'm scared of what he would thing of me.

Was I a bad kisser?

Does he think I'm disgusting?

Well of coarse he doesn't If he kissed me.

Ugh I'm thinking to much. I banged my head on my locker and opened it. I start to take out my books for my next class when I feel a presence behind me.

I slowly turn around to see no other that Will and his friends.

Will is the first to speak "so you've been avoiding me?"

"Psst, no I haven't" I gave them a fake smile and turned around to finish grabbing my books.

When I'm finished I close my locker and start walking to my first class. And of coarse Will follows.

"I just want to know why?" He asked.

Why am I avoiding him again?

Because he kissed you!

Oh yeah.

I was so lost in thought that Will took the advantage to pull me inside the janitors closet.

"Just give me a reason and I'll leave you alone," he said looking into my eyes.

"Um, you're annoying?" I say but it comes out more as a question.

He looks at me like I'm serious so I take the moment to bolt out the door and to class.

I bring my lunch to the library to try and avoid Will. I've been avoiding him like the plague.

You can't avoid him forever.

I can't find Shelby anywhere!

I checked every place I could possibly think off.

I've done a pretty great job as hiding.

As I'm rounding the corner to go into the next isle of books when I bump into a guy?

As I take a closer look at him he looks to be about my age and in my grade but most of all he's really cute.

"Hi. I'm Ryder" he greeted taking out his hand for me to shake.

I gave him a smile and shook his hand "I'm Shelby."

We sat down at a table and just talked.

What else would you guys be doing?
