ME AND YASSEF JOINED EACH OTHER AT THE PARK. I liked doing these to be honest. I loved going on walks at this park. It was amusing for me, I found it a way of clearing my mind. I might sound like a Disney character when I say this but walking out here is almost like my comfort zone.

Whenever me and Yassef go, it's like It's peaceful because of the area but in addition to that, I have a lover who I can speak to in that process. What's mind blowing is that Yassef was being good to me. He met me with a French vanilla in hand, something I would drink every cold day.

We walked together in silence for a while, before one of us broke it. And that was me because I'm always one to break that silence, "How's your work?"

"It's alright. Things are under control. My job is pretty easy. How about you? Anything new?"

"Just a new friend." I spoke, "Her name is Denise. She's pretty nice"

I don't know what even happened when I mentioned her name because the next thing I knew, Yassef's eyes looked down at the ground and gulped, "Denise?"

After that, I remembered exactly what denise has told me about her cousin being Karen. I'm still surprised that Karen Is still in town and that a month went by but shes still around. I didn't think Yassef would know Denise though, so I frowned.

"Yeah, You know her?"

"Yeah. old friends"

I rolled my eyes, "The truth"

he sigh, "She hates me."

It was obvious as to why she hated him (he supposedly played her cousin) so I chose not to ask anything further.  I do Consider Denise my friend after all, so I'm going to have to except her hate for my husband despite the fact that he is my husband.

"Denise is a good person you know? She seems like the defensive type though"

"Yeah no shit," he shook his head low, "She hates my guts for something I did to her relative. That's protective"

I scratched my head, "I mean, if someone disrespected a relative of mine then I would be pretty mad too"

He laughed, almost positive that he would have done the exact same thing too, "Same"

I couldn't help but wonder why Yassef brought me here in the first place, "Why'd you want to go for a walk?"

"To talk about anything and everything," he looked up at the clear blue sky, no clouds in sight, "To get to know you better"

Yeah, it was one of the strangest things I've heard. Gassed wanting to get to know me better. But I'll take it because I know for a fact that times like this don't happen often. That I would also like to know Yassef personally. I'd like to know him so well, to a point that I would know what he would order at a restaurant, or at an ice cream shop.

          That's far isn't it?

"What would you want to know?" I jumped all giddy and sat on the bench that we closely approached. Yassef, being extremely surprised at my giddiness, snorted and sat down beside me, his hands still in his pockets.

He sighed, his breath visible from the cold air, "Rant about your life. Mines boring and I'm willing to listen"

I smiled, "Rant? You want me to rant?"
