I sat bored on the steps leading up to the front door. I had cleaned the house again. I'd even ventured into rooms and rang a man who said he could clean a carpet stain.

It had taken hours, yet still the boys weren't back and now I was starting to worry. They had gone off to their manager as soon as Takeo and Isei had arrived home - I could hardly even say hello - and had been out since.

I let out harsh laughter as I remembered Isei giving me a sour face when I hugged Takeo. I bet he thought my eyes were closed. Well they weren't, I thought with a frown.

Finally the cold wind got the better of me and I got up with a growl and walked inside grumpily.

"Don't see why they couldn't take me," I grumbled. "Not like I would've been the end of their career. Not like I'd make them dance or sing any worse."

Sighing, I flopped down onto the sofa. I couldn't think of anything to do. Then a brainwave.

"Asuka?" I asked when the phone stopped ringing.

"Kimi? Hi!" she yelled excitedly.

"I'm boooored," I wailed, sticking my bottom lip out even though she couldn't see.

"Me tooooo. Eh eh eh! Guess what?"

"What?"

"I can take some time off next week! I was wondering if you wanted to come home and spend some time with me?"

I sighed sadly. "I can't, A. I have no money, that's why I'm here, remember?"

I could imagine her brain lighting up with a plan. "Then I'll come to you! If I have time off there is no way I'm not spending time with you; one way or another we shall meet again."

"You have enough money?" I asked doubtfully. I didn't want my hopes to get crushed if she didn't.

"Er," she paused. "I could ask Ella if she wants to come, I bet she'll say yes, and then your mum can help pay!" I let out a giggle.

"It's a good plan I guess. Ella hasn't been on holiday for a while so I'm sure mum would say okay. Just..." I didn't know how to say it. "I mean, I feel sort of bad for my mum."

"Why?" A said after a short yawn. It must be late for her. Time Zones, man.

"Well, it costs quite a lot to come here."

"But we wouldn't have to pay for accommodation," stated A matter-of-factly.

"What?" I grimaced.

"We'd come stay with you, of course!"

I let out a feeble laugh. "Yeah, okay." I knew Isei would object. It's not like it was my call to get angry if they weren't allowed to stay.

Suddenly the doorbell rang, and I jumped up and ran over; excited that the boys were finally back.

"Do you need to go or something?" laughed A.

"Yeah, sorry, I do. Ask my mum," I paused as I heaved open the door, "But don't get your hopes high." She let out another laugh.

"Of course. Bye then!"

I stared at the person on my doorstep. It wasn't the boys.

"Bye..." I heard the click as she hung up the phone.

"Are they home...?" asked the girl with the Canadian accent quietly, holding a suitcase.

Who the hell is this?
