I always thought you were the one for me,
but someone told me there are plenty of other fish in the sea.
I always thought that maybe we'd last for a long time,
but loving you was a waste of my time.
I always thought "It doesn't get better than this"
But you were a wasted first kiss.
And all that time i spent falling for you,
Every time you said "I love you," you were hurting me too.
Who are you to say you loved me?
When all you did was ignore? Please.
If you loved you wouldn't leave me for hours on end,
you wouldn't be so controlling, see the trend?
If you loved me, you'd do things I think are fun too,
Not tell me to "stop singing because it annoys you"
See all these things? they hurt me.
And I was too blinded by your love to see.
And maybe I always knew there was more out there for me,
but they were right when they said there are more fish in the sea.
