I break when you are hurting
and I cry when you are stressed.
I wish that I could take this pain from you,
give you the world you deserve.
You mean everything to me,
so I want to give everything to you.
You're the light of my life,
the city lights as we look at the view.
You don't have to be strong for me,
I know when it gets hard.
You make everyone else happy before yourself,
but you need time for you.
I wish I could give you more hours in a day,
more time to do what you want to do.
I am in love with everything you are,
everything you will be, and everything you have been.
I know you can pull through it all,
and I'll be right by your side.
I will love you unconditionally,
don't you ever doubt that.
