Time is an unforgettable thing.
He tries to heal people's wounds,
But it always backfires.
Days can pass, months can pass,
Maybe even years can pass,
But the pain doesn't disappear,
It just fades.
Alice, she felt pain.
And Time wasn't as nice to her.
He was like a rabbit,
Quick on his feet, fast on the run.
He tried to nurture her,
Tried to lift her up over the clouds.
Instead, she just fell into the rabbit's hole.
Falling and falling as time slowly passes,
Once she hit the bottom, time almost stopped.
She looked up from where she fell,
"Not enough time," she said.
"Not enough time to climb up there."
Time forgot her.
And Alice forgot her life above the rabbit hole.
Days pass, months pass,
Definitely years pass,
And she sits here almost lifeless,
As time passes.
