THE AFTERMATH
CHAPTER ELEVEN"Hope you know you're cleaning that up when you're done," Sweet Pea told Queenie jokingly as he entered the bedroom to see all of Queenie's belongings thrown everywhere. There was even a bra hanging off the fan. He laughed when he saw this, "Can I ask why you're redecorating?"
Queenie rolled her eyes as she stopped searching through her belongings and turned her head to look at Sweet Pea, "I'm looking for something I've seemed to have misplaced. Something really important to me. And I can't seem to understand how I forgot all about it until Jason's grandmother reminded me at the memorial."
Sweet Pea sighed when he heard this, "Take it the memorial went well?"
Queenie scoffed, "I walked down the aisle holding hands with Cheryl, wearing the same exact clothes we wore on July Fourth. It was...well, eventful." She explained as she continued to look through another drawer full of her stuff.
She groaned in annoyance when it was yet another dead end, "Where the hell is that damn necklace?!" She shouted out, "I need to find it before I go see Polly."
Sweet Pea stared at Queenie in confusion after hearing her words, "You found your friend Polly?' He asked her confused.
"I know exactly where she is. I have for a while. She's pregnant out of wedlock, her parents clearly put her in the Sisters of Quiet Mercy. It's common sense." She informed the tall Serpent that was standing beside her.
"And how do you plan on getting inside there?" Sweet Pea asked with a raised brow and Queenie just smirked.

After getting off at the bus stop in front of the Sisters of Quiet Mercy, Queenie crossed the street before entering that horrid place.
Once walking in, numerous nuns seemed to be giving her dirty looks after seeing her visible baby bump, "I'm sorry, can I help you?" She asked with attitude.
They gave her one more weird look before looking away and walked off. She let out a loud sigh as she walked over to the front desk, "Hi, I'm Forsythia Jones, here to see Polly Cooper." She spoke up and cringed at how she called herself by her biological name.
The older lady looked up at her and frowned, "May I see some identification?" She asked and Queenie nodded before pulling out her id from her pocket.
The lady stared at it for a moment before shaking her head, "I'm sorry, only family relatives are allowed to visit. If you want to see her, you need to seek permission from her parents."
Queenie let out a small laugh, "I don't think that will be necessary." She replied as she stood there with a cold stare. She leaned forward and began to whisper, "You see, I need to see my friend as soon as possible. And if you don't let me see her, I'll gladly call the sheriff and let him know about how many laws you are breaking in this facility, one of them being conversion therapy. Last time I checked, Conversion Therapy was illegal in this state." Queenie told her in a low and threatening tone.
The lady was quiet for a moment before she slid over a clipboard, "Sign in, please." She spoke up and Queenie smiled at her.
The head lady ended up leading Queenie outside to a place called 'The Garden of Deliverance. She pointed over to where Polly was looking down a bunch of flowers. Queenie smiled as she walked over, "Polly." She spoke up.
Polly instantly turned around, a shocked look on her face, "Queenie?' She gasped before running over, "Oh, my God. You came back. You actually came back to Riverdale. And you found us."
Queenie had a tear fall down her cheek as she shook her head, "I never left." She told her quietly.
They pulled away from the hug they shared and looked at each other's baby bumps, "Polly. You kept the baby." Queenie smiled, remembering the doubts Polly had previously had about giving birth to them.
"Please be happy for me, Queenie," Polly begged, "You're the only person I expect to be happy for me."
Queenie nodded her head, "I am, Polly. I am." She replied before giving her a sad look, "I'm sorry I didn't come sooner."
"What have they been saying about me? What have my parents been telling everyone about what happened to me? Alcohol? Drugs?" Polly asked with an amused smile.
Queenie sighed, "They said you had a mental break. I didn't believe it though, like the rest of this God forsaken town. Why did they lock you up here?"
"They couldn't control me. I was getting ready to leave on July fourth when I came downstairs to see this random lady and two guards. They dragged me here, screaming and crying," Polly explained, "Where's Jason? I thought you guys would have been long gone by now."
"Polly--" Queenie started, only to get cut off by Polly and her rambling.
"If you can get me out of here, the three of us can leave. Just like we planned all along. With no obstacles. we can go to the farm, just like we all planned--" Polly rambled as she held Queenie's hands in hers.
"Polly, stop!" Queenie whispered shouted as she gave her a sad look, "I'm not here by choice. Jason and I never left. Something happened, we were kidnapped, drugged and I don't remember the rest. I was hit in the sometime before July eleventh. I was left unconscious and Jason, he was shot. Someone killed Jason and I was there, but have no memory of this. I was found a few weeks ago on the Greendale side of Sweetwater River." Queenie explained to her as she began to cry.
Polly began to cry also, "It can't--I knew something must have happened. I had the feeling..." Queenie pulled the blonde in for a hug.
Queenie was suddenly pulled away from her by two nuns, "It's time for you to leave." They demanded sternly.
Before she left, Queenie ran over to Polly and pulled her in for a hug.
She leaned forward and began to whisper in Polly's ear, "Listen to me, Polly," She spoke up softly, tears streaming down her cheeks, like always, "You need to get out here, somehow. You need to escape. And if you suceed, you need to lie, lie and say Jason is the father of your babies. It'll protect you. You can't let anyone figure out who the dad is." Queenie insisted and Polly slowly nodded her head. She knew exactly who the dad was and it wasn't a Southside Serpent. That was just a cover. It was one of Riverdale's supposed 'brightest'.
"Queenie! Queenie!" Polly shouted out as she was pulled in the opposite direction of Queenie.
"Do what I said, Polly. Get out of here." Queenie mouthed to her before she was forced to leave.
