"Your brother refuses to sit with us," Mandy told Queenie as she and Toni sat back down at the Serpent's lunch table after giving Jughead his tour of Southside High, "He said something about him not being pack animal."

Queenie sighed, looking over at her younger brother to see him taking a seat at an empty table. From a distance, she could see a couple Ghoulies getting ready to go confront Jughead, "Crap," She muttered under her breath, getting up from her seat, "Tell Sweet Pea that I won't be sitting a the table."

"Where are you going?" Toni asked her confused. She and Mandy watched as Queenie made her way over to Jughead's table, taking a seat beside him.

The Ghoulies who were getting ready to taunt him backed off, causing Queenie to smirk as she looked up at them, "That's what I thought!" She shouted out and they gave her a dirty look before sitting back down at their own table.

Jughead sighed, looking over at his sister, "Shouldn't you be sitting with your boyfriend and your friends?" Jughead asked Queenie, who shook her head in response.

"No, I should be sitting with my little brother," She replied with a small smile, "No way am I going to let you fend for yourself."

Jughead looked around to see numerous people staring at them, mostly at Queenie, "Why does everyone seem to be staring at you?" He questioned.

Queenie turned her head to see that what Jughead was saying was actually right, "I'm Queen of the school, Jughead, haven't you heard?" She replied sarcastically, "The Serpents probably think I'm stupid for sitting with you. Don't worry, I'll get crap about it later on. It's worth it though." Queenie grinned, causing Jughead to smile at her.

________

During the class period after lunch, Queenie found herself wanting to skip. She was sitting in math class with Mandy, the only class she had with her friend. She was the only friend she had any classes with that she was really close with after Joaquin fled town. Fangs, Toni and Sweet Pea were all in the grade below them, not that it mattered.

She looked up at the teacher to see her writing a problem on the blackboard. Queen took this time to pick up her bag and stand from her seat. The math teacher glanced at her from the corner of her eyes as Queenie exited the classroom without permission.

Once leaving, Queenie pulled out her phone and texted Sweet Pea, asking if he wanted to skip with her. It took mere seconds for the boy to reply, he was clearly already on his phone during class when Queenie sent him a text.

Queenie walked down the hallway and made her way to Mr. Phillips's English classroom. Once getting there, Sweet Pea abruptly exited the classroom. He had an angry look on his face, but once he saw Queenie, he immediately smiled.

He leaned forward and kissed Queenie, intertwining their hands together. From the corner of her eye, she saw Jughead in that same classroom, staring at her confused. She smirked at her brother before she walked off with Sweet Pea.

"Where to?" Queenie asked curiously, "Quarry? Pop's? The trailer?"

Only a moment after, Sweet Pea pulled Queenie into the nearest storage closet, causing the girl to laugh, "Here's fine, too." She remarked, smiling as Sweet Pea cupped her face, pulling her in for a long and passionate kiss.

About a minute, they pulled away for a breath. Sweet Pea smiled as he stared at her, "What?" She asked him and  began to smile also.

"I love you," He confessed to her bluntly, "I love you, Queenie. I've been waiting for the best time to finally say it, but I can't wait any longer."

"I-I love you, too." She replied back and instead of kissing each other, they hugged for a long moment.

Queenie loved hugging Sweet Pea, he was just like a giant teddy, seeing as their height difference. There was about eight and a half inches of a difference in height between them because Sweet Pea was so damn tall.

_______

Later on that day, Sweet Pea, Mandy, Queenie and some other Serpents they went to school with entered the Red and Black's old room to find Jughead and Toni.

Queenie had a smile on her face as she looked over at her friend, "Topaz, let's bounce." She spoke up before Sweet Pea added in.

He had his eyes on Jughead and Queenie knew right away that Sweet Pea was going to ask him if he wanted to come with them to the quarry. Queenie wasn't even going, she just came for the walk before she headed to Shankshaw Prison to visit her dad.

"Jones, you wanna come with? We're going down to the Quarry?" Sweet Pea offered with a smile.

Jughead quickly glanced at his sister before looking back at Sweet Pea, "I-uh-don't have my beach bod yet." He answered and Sweet Pea seemed anything but amused by his response.

"What? You'll ask help from the Serpents when you need it, but you won't hang with us?" Sweet Pea questioned, crossing his arms over his chest as he glared at the Jones boy, "Don't come crawling to us, hat in hand when some Ghoulie decides to earn his stripes by taking FP Jones's son. Your sister isn't going to be able to be there every time you decide to get your ass into some trouble."

"Hey, don't bring me into this!" Queenie complained but was then interrupted by Jughead.

"Duly noted. Thank you, Sweet Pea," Jughead replied with attitude, "I appreciate what you and the Serpents have done Queenie, my dad and I, I do. But I'm done, okay? No more favors coming your way." Jughead told him a low tone, still glaring at Sweet Pea.

Sweet Pea began to step forward, ready to go after Jughead, not even bothering to care that this was his girlfriend's little brother. Queenie quickly stepped in front of Sweet Pea, blocking his way. She placed the palm of her left hand on Sweet Pea's chest, pushing the boy back, "Hey, hey, hey. He made up his mind, Pea, okay? Just leave him be." Queenie warned him and Sweet Pea glared at Jughead one last time before glancing down at Queenie, "Let's just go, okay?"

Sweet Pea slowly nodded his head before the whole group began to leave the room, leaving Jughead by himself. Before exiting the room with the rest of the Serpents, Queenie glanced at her brother, "You're welcome." She commented, causing Jughead to roll his eyes at her before leaving.
