Months had passed and everything seemed to be going as planned. LaLa was making her trips every time on time and I was gaining more and more weight. I was due for my usual trip to see Miami except that he was closer. They had moved him to the Dade County Pre-Trial Release for another court appearance. At six months that was great for me because the drive was only an hour and a half. I made me a hair appointment so that could look my best when I went to see my baby. I was just going to wash and get a wrap since Coo was paying for it. I wasn't trying to dig in his pocket as the average hood rat would have taken him for everything he had and didn't have. I had grown so attached to him that I was feeling him and he was feeling me so I knew it was time to move around. Even though it had only been a month I was overdone.

Money wasn't pouring in for my personal benefit but I wasn't going to give up yet. Shit had to get a little hot so I was going to have to pull LaLa off the hit for the minute. Then just as I walked into the salon I saw Moon. Moon was a Courier for UPS and had a side gig with Jamaicans. I knew right then that things happened for a reason and it was meant for me to walk into the shop at this time on this particular day. I didn't want any of those snitching as bitches to see me talking to him so I asked him if I could talk to him about an application. I heard one chicken head say

"She knew damn well that she need a job since that nigga is locked up."

Little did chicken head know I was on my way up and soon to be her boss. See a lot of these chicken head and wanna-be's worked for a local nickel and dime hustla name Big Doe. Big Doe was everything but he was also new to the game and had no one to teach him the real shit that goes along with it. He only did what he saw in the up and coming video world jewelry, clothes and around the way hoes. Whenever Doe was low on cash they were definitely caught with other sponsors that thought they were John Parsons. They had no sense on what the world of hustling was about instead they focused on the money that needed to be spent. One thing about a dude like mine was that they lived to maintain their coins while these dummies maintained to have coins. I realized that you have to live for the future, if not the shit you buy for today won't mean shit then. Villain said he was still standing simply because he purchased the fortune not the product. I knew that none of these nigga's or hoes could touch what I was about to accomplish.

"Hey Moon, how has life been treating you?"

"Pretty good and I were about to ask you the same but by the looks of you, you been busy." He laughed

"Well you know that's how the ball turns sometimes. I was wondering if you had some applications in your truck I could have?"

Looking at me like I was crazy knowing that I didn't need a job he said that he would get me one. I followed him out the salon as the hoes that were talking shit burned a hole in my Seven Sweats. When he got outside Moon asked what the hell was really going on and that he heard some shit about Miami doing ten years.

"Look Moon I need a favor or should I say I have a business proposition for you that I think could really help us both."

"Okay I'm all ears," he said smiling

"First off Miami didn't get ten years he got five but their trying to retry his case. I know that you have that hook up with the Jamaicans and I need in."

"Mimi what you don't look like you need to be doing nothing of that caliber. I know that you have really lost your mind."

"Look Moon I know what I'm doing and I am also aware of the consequences but I have nothing. They burned my house to the ground and tried to kill me. In revenge, I just want what my man started. Now I don't need a lecture Moon either you down or you not? I need your help but I'm not going to beg no one to get paid." Once I broke it down and told him more than he really needed to know he was game.
