     Saturday June 30th

Daniels driving down the small road surrounded by trees. I'm looking out the window trying to see the different features of the forest. We're definitely out of LA now. We've been driving for 2 hours and I don't know where we're going.
"Can you tell me where we're going?" I ask him. He looks at me with a grin and puts a box in my knee. I open it and it reveals a totally new jogging sneakers. I look at him with a 'are you serious' look. He smiles at me and chuckles.
"Stop spoiling me!" I say and playfully punch his arm.
"You'll need them! I brought us some sandwiches too! We're going to see the sun flare." He says and looks back at the road. My jaw drops and I smile uncontrollably at him.

"I love you!" I say and look down at the shoes still smiling. I can see him looking at me smiling brightly. Quickly I put the shoes on. They fit perfectly. I look up at him and hug him from the side as he drives, gotta be careful.
"What did I do to deserve you!" I say and sit back up straight again. Daniel curls his lips and chuckle at me. He quickly licks his lips and look back at the road. I smile and look out of the window.

Daniel pulls up at an empty small forest parking lot, showing a little trail up a hill. I get out of the car and stretch. Daniel comes up behind me and puts his hands on my shoulders pushing me forward and towards the hill. I start walking up it and he walks after me. We climb up some stones and walk a bit further until I see a giant rose bush. I gasp and run up to it since I'm obsessed with roses. I sniff at them and Daniels standing next to me taking a photo of them.
"Good idea!" I say and pick my phone up to take a photo of them. I snatch a quick photo and then put my phone down. Daniel continues walking and I follow him.

After walking for a while we stop at a cliff from where we can see out over the forest and out to the ocean. The sun is on its way down, we sit there and just look at everything until the sun is almost gone. Right before it's about to disappear I stand up and focus on the horizon. For a couple seconds we see the light flare out over the whole forest and ocean. I shout in happiness and jump around. Now I can check that off of my bucket list.
"THANK YOU!!" I say and hug attack Daniel as he stands up. I give out the hug but Daniel's holding around my back. Our faces are only a few inches away. We stare into each other's eyes and Daniel looks from my eyes to my lips. The silence breaks by Daniel's phone ringing.

He picks it up and sighs.
"Yeah Jonah?" He asks and curls his lips. He nods a little and I hear Jonah mumble on the other side.
"Ok we'll stop at a motel or something then!" He Answers and smiles at me. I smile back and pick my phone up looking at the clock. It's 10:23 PM. I would usually be tired since I flew from Australia at 11 PM yesterday. It took 18 hours to fly from Australia and 2 hours to get here, 1 hour to go up the mountain. Sounds pretty exhausting to me. But since I slept through the flight I'm not even tired.

Daniel puts his phone down and so do I. We start to walk down the trail again feeling how the dark starts to head in. Daniel picks up 2 flashlights from his bag and turn them on. It was kinda difficult but we came down in one piece. We get into the car laughing.
"What did Jonah say before by the way?" I say breaking the laughing.
"Gabbie and Christina is at our house, they came here to visit so they asked me if they could sleep in my bed, even tho they won't end up sleeping there." He says with a chuckle. It's currently 11:43 PM. I'm getting pretty tired now actually.

I smile at him and he turns the engine on and starts driving. He drives down the dark road until we see a motel. We park the car and get inside.
"We only got a room with one bed." The receptionist says. Me and Daniel look at each other in embarrassment but we decide to get it anyways. I go to the bathroom and wash myself a little. Daniel already laying in the bed. I get out and pick up the hoodie he brought me. He turns around in the bed and I change into it. I walk over to the bed and get into it. Daniel turns around again and smiles at me before turning the lights off.

"Goodnight Presley.." He says. I smile to myself, I've really missed hearing him say that.
"Goodnight Daniel..." I say and turn around so my back is facing him. Just as I'm about to fall sleep I feel his arm wrap around over me and he jumps closer to me. I act like I'm sleeping and smile to myself.
