Thursday July 20th

The sound of screeching birds wake me up. Daniels arm is wrapped around my waist as the sunlight is beaming through the tent. It would've been a perfect way to wake up on if the birds wouldn't have been so annoying.

I turn my face to Daniel and he slowly opens his eyes. His facial expression turns surprised and his arm quickly falls off of me.
"Sorry-" He says but I cut him off with kissing him.
"Why did you apologize dork?" I ask him while sitting up.

He chuckles and rubs his eyes.
"Still not used to us being like a thing.." he says and giggles. I smile at him and pull my hair backwards.
"I'm not either. But just remember, you don't ever have to apologize for cuddling me-" I say and stand up.
"Good." He says and stands up next to me. I look around at the cozy camping place. My stomach growls in hunger as Daniel walks up to the freeze box we brought with us.

"I brought food!" He says. I run up to him and stand next to him, looking down in the box. I see different hot dogs and some other foods in it. What food it is I don't really care about now, I just want food. He picks up a pack of hot dogs and half a watermelon.

"Odd combination, but I'll eat it!" I say and help him pack the things up. Daniel chuckles and walks over to the campfire. He puts a few dry logs in the middle of the stone circle and starts the fire. I walk up to him with the hot dogs and he picks up 2 long sticks. 

"Are we stick grilling them?" I ask him with a chuckle. He nods and puts a hot dog on his stick. I shrug and do the same. Now we just have to wait for them to grill.

After our amazing breakfast we decided to go surfing again. The waves are amazing at this hour and it would be a crime to not surf. But it's also the time the sharks are most active. But you only live once right?

I grab my surfboard after I changed into my wet suit and start heading out towards the beach. Daniel soon catch up and we start our little morning surfing. It all goes great until Daniel decides to scare the crap out of me.

"SHARK!" Daniel yells at me and points to under me. I laugh and shake my head at him but he still looks panicked.

"I'M SERIOUS!" He yells. I furrow my eyebrows and look down under my surfboard and see 3 small sharks circling around my board. I scream louder then I ever have and pull my legs up on teh surf board. 

I quickly look at Daniel who's laughing hysterically. I furrow my eyebrows and look down under my surfboard. The sharks are small and cute. It's reef sharks..

"I didn't know there was reef sharks in Cali!" I yell at Daniel. He's still laughing hysterically. I put my hand down in the water and feel the sharks touch my palm.

"Neither did I." Daniel says as he paddles up to me and puts hus hand down to touch the sharks too. I splash some water up in his face and paddle away from him. He quickly starts paddling after me.

"PRESLEY!" He yells as he paddles after me. I laugh as a wave forms in the distance. I paddle further out and turn around. As the wave gets closer I stand up and I go right past Daniel. He dives under the wave and all of a sudden we're several feet away from each other.

I raise my hands up in the air in victory. Daniel hits the water and starts paddling towards me again. This time I just stay here, Daniel soon coming up to me. 

I grin at him as he smiles at me. He throws himself off his surfboard and tackles me into the water. We get up to the surface again and start laughing. Daniel cuts me off by kissing me. We break the kiss and start laughing again. I hug him, grabbing his shoulders and pushing him down under the water. 

I grab my surfboard and start swimming in towards the beach. Daniel comes up from the water as I'm changing out of my wetsuit again. He grabs our surfboards and throw them into the car. He comes back and changes clothes as I pack the rest up. I load it into the car and fix everything so we're ready to go home.

The whole car ride home consisted of us carpooling. It was so amazing, especially hearing Daniels beautiful voice. He parked the car outside of the Seavey's place. I haven't been here in ages. It's nice to finally be back actually.

We enter the house and I smell Keri's cooking. That's something I've missed a lot, nothing can beat Keri's cooking.

We walk into the kitchen and see Keri and Anna cooking some kind of brunch. I walk up behind Anna and hug her from behind. She jumps and lets out a high pitched scream making me laugh loudly.

She quickly turns around and smiles when she sees me and hugs me. We hug each other for a while and tilt from side to side.

"I missed you." She says as we hug. I laugh and we let go of the hug.

"I missed you two. I've had to be alone with your brother for more then 24 hours... can you imagine my suffering?" I say, making Anna laugh. I join in on the laugh and look to the side where Keri is also laughing. She smiles at me and gives me a quick hug.

"Ouch that hurt." Daniel says as we break our hug. We all laugh at him and sit down in the kitchen, catching up on everything that happened the past days.
