-twenty four-

      Monday July 15th.

I'm home in my apartment. Alone. Watching Spider Man Homecoming. I'm really a marvel freak, it's one of my guilty pleasures. Not that I feel guilty from watching it. Me and the boys stayed at the beach until 7 PM until they had to go. They were going to some meeting with their manager. I ordered a pizza and treated myself to a relaxed day. Since the past weeks has been very rough I haven't had time to really relax.

I grab my phone and go onto Instagram. Maybe I'll answer some DM's. I click on the DM's and see all of the different accounts. A profile picture of Daniel and Jack catch my eye and I click on it.
"Hi Presley. I was wondering if you and Daniel were dating. No hate. I love you." It reads. I giggle at it and answer.
"Haha no me and Daniel are not dating." It doesn't even go 30 seconds until I get an answer.
"Darn it. I thought you were." It Says. I furrow my eyebrows and answer her again.
"What do you mean with Darn it?" I ask her.
"Oh I just ship you and him. People have seen how he's looking at you." She sends. I chuckle and sends an answer.

"Daniel doesn't like me like that."
"Do you like him like that?" She sends.
"No, or at least I don't think so." I send. It takes a while for her to answer.
"Well you both sure look good together and I think you should date. It's a perfect match. If you find interest for him. I promise I'll support you." She writes. I smile at the phone and look over at the movie for a bit.
"Thank you." I send. She sends a simple heart back. I jump as it knocks on the door. Lazily I get out of the sofa and walk over to the door and open it. Revealing a Daniel with a bouquet of flowers. I furrow my eyebrows and look at him.

"For you. I invited myself over for dinner so I thought maybe I should give her flowers for some weird reason. My mom always does that when she gets invited to dinners." He says and hands me the bouquet. He enters the apartment and takes his shoes off.
"Thank you I guess. Weren't you going to a meeting?" I ask him and put the flowers in water.
"Well it was just about money. They gave us our paycheck so I bought you those flowers as the first thing with my money. And this sushi." He says and lifts a bag with sushi up. I look at the pizza I haven't touched yet and decide to eat the sushi instead. I put the pizza in the fridge and sit down next to Daniel at the dinner table and we eat.

"Why did you decide to come here if I may ask? You could've gone everywhere." I say and take a bite out of the sushi.
"And at 8:23 PM on a Monday?" I ask him and take another bite.
"Because you're my best friend and I was bored. And I'm never bored when I'm around you. I love you and your company." He says and eats. I stop eating and looks at him while blushing.
"Well I love you and your company too, bestie." I say and he looks at me smiling now.

"Presley. Can I tell you something, or it's a question too kinda..." He says and I look up at him.
"Yes of course?" I say as a question. He chuckles and puts his chop sticks down. I furrow my eyebrows and he opens his mouth to speak.
"I really-" He starts but gets cut off.
"Hey don't push." I hear a quiet voice say from outside. It sounds like Jack. Daniel stops talking and gets up from his chair quietly. He stops at the door and pulls it open, 4 boys fall inside in a bundle and Daniel is looking at them pissed.

"What the hell guys!" He yells at them. They stand up quickly and look at me and Daniel smiling innocently.
"What?" Corbyn starts.
"We couldn't help ourselves!" Jack says and smiles.
"But you continue." Zach says. Daniel shakes his head and push them out of the house.
"No. We'll leave." He says and walks up to me. He gives me a quick hug and a kiss on the cheek. We both stand there frozen and in silence.
"Sorry.." He says as he slowly takes a step away from me. I grab his hand and smile at him. I quickly kiss his cheek back and he smiles brightly at me.

"Goodbye Seavey." I say as he leaves the apartment.
"Goodbye Lake." He says and I smile at him. I see him punching the back of Zach's head and jumping into the car. I chuckle as I close the door. The movie is still playing and I reverse it to where I was. The scene where Peter is screaming Help makes my heart break. A few tears fall down my cheeks. My phone buzz and I pick it up. I got a snapchat from Daniel. I open it and see a picture of him smiling and saying goodnight. Quickly I take a picture of my face smiling, you can clearly see the tears. I caption it "Goodnight".

It doesn't take long until I get a blurry pic of Daniel looking devastated saying "NOOO WHY ARE YOU CRYINNNNNNNG?" I laugh at it and wipe my tears away. I take a pic of the movie and write "Peter got hurt and if he's hurt I'm hurt and then I started crying." Daniel sends a pic of him looking relieved.
"Oh god, I thought you were hurt or something." He says. I shake my head and take a photo of me smiling.
"Goodnight Daniel."
"Goodnight Pres!" He sends back.

I continue watching the movie until I fall asleep on the sofa. I'm too lazy to go to my room so I'll just stay here. I still wonder what Daniel wanted to tell me tho..
