Friday July 4th

"WAKE UP PRESLEY WAKE UP! ITS FOURTH OF JULYYYYYYYY!!" Alex says and shakes me in the bed. He starts singing and I open my eyes and look at him.
"Let me sleeeeeeep!" I say and pull the cover over my head. Alex stops singing and comes up to me.
"I'm letting you stay here now that Aria is away! But you gotta get out of bed and continue with your life! Daniel can go and shove it!" Alex says and pulls the covers off of me. I roll out of bed and cling onto Alex's leg. He walks with me over to the closet and I let go. I lazily gets up and take out an outfit, we're going to celebrate with his friends later today.

I pick it up and walk into the bathroom to change. Alex enters the bathroom and fixes his hair and I do my makeup.

We finish fixing us and walk downstairs. It's currently 12:32 PM and his friends are arriving at 12:40 and we're going to head out to a festival.
We sit down on the kitchen island and wait for his friends. Alex is singing on Truthfully by DNCE while looking through his phone. I sit and adore him, his voice is amazing.

It knocks on the door and I run up and open it. In walks August Reinhardt. My heart stops as I see Daniel and the others walk up to the door. Alex says hi to August and I raise an eyebrow at them.
"Oh..." Alex says and I walk back inside as the others enter.
"I'm going back to sleep" I say and Alex run after me.
He stops me and smiles at me.
"August asked if he could invite some of his friends, I didn't know that he meant them... please come to the festival with us. We can have fun without them!" He asks me and look deep into my eyes.

I smile and follow him down the stairs again. Daniel and I get eye contact and I quickly look away. Corbyn pats Daniels back and I walk up to August and Alex who're debating on who's going to drive.
"I'll drive!" I say and grab the keys out of Alex's hand. We all walk out and I get into the drivers seat. Me, Alex, August, Corbyn and Jonah take this car. The others go in the other.

We drive all the way to the festival and I park the car. I hear the loud music and see all the people running around with American flags. Christina comes up to me and paints 3 stripes on my cheeks. Blue, red and white. She does the same on everyone. I jump onto Alex's back and we run into the festival space. There's a bunch of rollercoasters and people dancing and singing. We all split up and decide to meet in 2 hours at the food court. Me, Alex, Jonah and.. Daniel.. walk to the concert area.

Alex and I start dancing with each other and Jonah and Daniel dance with random girls. Me and Daniel gets eye contact sometimes but I break it almost immediately. Alex and I dance for about an hour and I decide to get some water. I walk over to the drink booth and get 4 water. Someone comes up next to me, I look to the side and see Daniel. He's helping me carry the waters and I turn away from him and start walking away. He runs up to me and walks next to me.

"Presley-" he starts but I cut him off.
"Save it to someone who cares!" I say and walk faster back to Alex and Jonah. I hand them their water and grab mine out of Daniels hand. He looks me in the eyes and I take a sip of my water and then look away. He licks his lips before he takes a deep breathe. Jonah looks at us confused, Alex breaks the silence.

"We're supposed to meet up now." He says and I smile at him. I chug the water and throw the bottle away. I jump onto Alex's back again, it's kinda our thing. We walk back to the food court and find the others. We get our food and starts eating. I'm silent the whole meal, so is Daniel. I get up from my seat to go and throw my paper plate away.
"Im going to the bathroom" I say and they nod. I start walking away from the others and towards the bathroom. Daniel runs up to me and walks next to me.

"Presley... talk to me!" He says. I stop and turn to him.
"What do you want to talk about?" I ask him. He sighs and look down at his fingers.
"I'm so sorry... I didn't mean you're hopeless. You know I lo-" He says but I cut him off.
"Well you said it. And it hurt, like hell. Now can you just let me be, because I need to use the bathroom!" I say and start walking away again. He runs up to me again and throws me over his shoulder and starts to walk away with me. I punch his back a little, not actually wanting to hurt him.

He puts me down behind a stuffed animal booth and I look at him angrily.
"I miss you! And I regret what I said every second of everyday!" He says. I swallow and look into his tear filled eyes.
"I miss you too..." I say, he goes in for a hug but I stop him.
"But I don't- want to be apart of your life anymore" I say and a tear falls from his eye and down onto his foot.
"Please Presley.." He says but I shake my head and walk away and to the bathroom. I hear how he punches the wall and cusses to himself.

I wipe away the small tears from under my ears and walk to the bathroom. As quick as I can I use the bathroom and walk out, bumping into Gabbie. She smiles at me until she sees my tears.
"Presley- what's the matter?" She says and pulls me into a hug. My tears start to stream down and I hug her back.
"It's for his own good... he's better without me.." I say and Gabbie strokes my back.
"What do you mean?" She says and I look up at her.
"Daniel... he's better off without me... I'm just trouble." I say and wipe my cheeks. Gabbie smiles at me.

"I thought the same thing about Jack- and see where we're now!" Gabbie says. I smile at her and take a deep breathe.
"Maybe..." I say and she smiles at me again. We walk over to the others again and I see that Daniel still isn't there.
"Guys I'm not feeling well. I'm heading home, I'll call you when I get home Alex." I say and hug some of them goodbye.

I get into the apartment and fall down into my bed. I get onto Instagram decide to post a new post. Quickly I scroll through my camera roll and find a old picture of the roses me and Daniel saw when we hiked to see the light flare... that was only a week ago. God... things can change so freaking fast.

user3; I saw her and Daniel fighting at the festival today. He had to get stitches from the medical nurse there, he punched a wall for some reason.

I take a deep breathe after seeing the comments. I put down my phone and look at the clock. 5:54 PM. What on earth can I do until Alex comes home? Take a nap? Sounds good to me. Just as I'm about to fall asleep my phone starts ringing. It's Aria. I pick up.

"Hey girl!" She says and I reply with the same thing. We talk for a while until she says something that catch my attention.
"I got to tell you something." She says and I smile at her. She lift her hand up the the camera showing a engagement ring.
"I'm getting married!"
