"I thought you'd like confess you have feelings for me or something." I say and instantly regret it. There's a silence for a bit.
"What, nooo!" Daniel says and chuckles.

Gabbie, me and Christina are sitting in the kitchen talking about Gabbie and Jack. They're really happy together, but me and Gabbie are engaged. Now and then we turn to look at the boys who're all talking in the living room.
"So do you have a boyfriend?" Christina asks me and I turn to her. I shake my head and laugh.
"What?" Gabbie asks me, I guess she's talking about me laughing.
"I'm a 17 year old boring girl, who would even want to date me?" I say and they look at me with a confused look. They shake their heads and sigh.
"What?" I ask them chuckling. They look at me with a grin.
"You got a guy deeply in love with you and you can't even see it!" Gabbie says and points at the boys. I look at them and then over at the boys. I catch eye contact with Daniel and then back to the girls.
"Jonah? No we're just friends, we did kiss one time tho!" I say and look down at my phone. "We didn't mean Jo- wait what you missed Jonah?" Christina says and looks at me in shock. Just as I'm about to answer Jonah calls us into the living room. "We were thinking of getting some bagels, or we can just postmate too!" Corbyn starts and I nod. "Please get us some bagels!" I say and just as I do my stomach growls.
"I'm up for going out!" Gabbie says and Jack grabs her hand. They look at each other and kiss. My smile grows bigger. I look back at the others and they nod. "We'll leave in 30 minutes!" Daniel says and walks up the stairs. Me and the girls follow him and walk into the bathroom.
"We gotta style you up!" Christina says and starts fixing around in my hair. "Wait why?" I ask them. They look at each other and giggle. I shake my head and let them do it. They finish and I look at my hair. It's just two simple messy buns? I get up from the chair and we got 10 minutes left. I put on some mascara and find a nice outfit. The girls help me pick it out and I actually really like it.

We walk out of the bathroom and see the boys downstairs. Daniel is now also changed. His eyes stop at me for a couple seconds but then look to the side and scratch his neck. Why is he acting so weird. We walk up to them and start to head out.
I sit in the car with Jonah, Corbyn and Zach while the others drive in a different. We park outside a Starbucks and get out. Me and Jonah get inside and order some coffees. I get a iced coffee and Jonah a regular black. We get outside and hand everyone their coffees, starting to head to the bagel shop.
Daniel and Gabbie are walking and talking. Now and then Gabbie looks at me smiling, I smile back still feeling confused. "Do you know what Gabbie and Daniel are talking about?" I ask Christina. She smirks at me and I give her a confused look. "What?" I ask her and she giggles. "Just Daniels love for you!" She says and I slap her arm. "He doesn't like me as anything but a friend!" I say and she shrugs. She runs up to Corbyn and jump on his back.
Daniel walks over to me and I look into his eyes. He smiles at me and I smile back. "I was thinking about going to the beach tomorrow morning, do you want to come?" He asks me and I smile brightly at him. "Yeah sure. But this time you can't cover me in mud. Especially not in my bathing suit!" I answer and he chuckles at me. I see the bagel shop and jump onto Daniels back. "Attack!" I yell and point at the bagel shop. Daniel starts running towards it and all the others run with us. We stop outside the shop and look at the little menu standing outside of it. I already know what I want but I'll just pretend I don't.
We enter the shop and order. Me and Corbyn both get Bacon, Cheese and Egg bagels. The others get something different, I didn't even bother to care... I was too hungry. I get my bagel and run over to the table almost skipping. I sit down and start unpacking it. Daniel sits down next to me and the girls in front of me and Daniel. Corbyn next to Christina and Jack next to Gabbie. Zach and Jonah on each side of the table. We all start eating and I look over at Daniel who got cream cheese all over his face. I pick up my napkin and wipe it off. He smiles at me and I take a bite of my bagel.
Slowly I turn my head to the girls who're smirking at me. I give them the death stare and they giggle looking away. Daniel is lookin at me and chuckles. I finish my bagel and walk over to throw the things away. That's when I see him. "ALEX!" I yell and they all look at me. A tall guy with dark hair walks up to me and hugs me tightly, swirling me around. "ALEX AIONO WHAT ON EARTH ARE YOU DOING HERE?!" I ask him. He puts me down and smiles at me.
"I can ask you the same thing! As far as I knew you still lived in North Dakota!" He says and pulls me into another hug. "Well I moved here with Aria like 2 months ago or so. But she's out of town so I'm staying with Daniel, I think!" I say and we pull away from the hug again. He looks at me confused.
"Oh right, that's my best friends over there." I say and point at the others who're sitting at the table still eating. We walk over to the table and I introduce them all to each other, they all knew who each other were before. But they hadn't met before. "So how do you know each other?" Daniel asks us and smiles at Alex. We awkwardly laugh and look at each other.
"Well we met on a party... we had to kiss for 1 minute straight in a game of spin the bottle." I answer and Jonah and Christina laugh. I laugh with them. Daniel is looking at Alex weirdly, almost like he's angry. "So we dated for 3 months but decided just to stay friends because it worked better like that." I continue and look at Alex who's smiling. "And how come I didn't know about this?" Daniel laughs out. "Maybe because you disappeared after Idol and I didn't see you until the like past month or two." I say making Corbyn go "oooo" and Jack whispers "burnt". I look at them with serious faces. Daniel shakes his head and rolls his eyes, Alex clears his throat breaking the silence.
"I should leave. But I'll see you later Presley!" Alex says and gets up. Me and the others grab our stuff and start to head out too. We say goodbye to Alex and get back to the cars driving home. The whole ride home I sit looking out of the window in silence, looking at all the different people walking on the street, thinking about what they're going through right now. If one of them maybe just met their old friend and that their best friend is acting weird towards your old friend making you anxious, no? Just me? I guess so.
We get out of the car and start walking inside. I walk directly up to Daniels room where I'm staying. I pull out the mattress from under his bed and plop down on it. Perfect time for a nap. My eyes slowly close shut and I fall asleep.
